new to your show...reminds me of being a kid in the 80s and discovering the new bands of my generation making the music played no where but fmu and at all ages venues including the art places...and we making the mixed tapes...in our enthusiasm to share our "discoveries"....And discovering earlier music like your 1936 Coleman Hawkins and your choices from rerelease comps and samplers. Just went to your playlists...& quickly scanned your selections. You are new to fmu-really great. Am wondering who you are and where do you come from. Guess I will find out as I keep listening to your show. Love it. Yr speaking voice does not (yet?) have the world weary irony( blended with the everlasting enthusiasm and curiosity of music and art) of our beloved FMU DJs. Faye on Thursdays- tuning in.
