Avatar 4:31pm Adrey from KY:

Love that Kerbivore song! Where can I get it?
  4:31pm Julie:

I came in late, but I coulda sworn i heard someone doing Pink Floyd's bike
  4:33pm PB:

Terre, just joined the show. Didn't you mean that the Ty Segall song was a cover of a Fred Neil song, not the Fabs (I assume you mean the Beatles). Nonetheless, another great cover by Ty. The Slaughterhouse album also has a great cover of Bo Diddley's Diddy Wah Diddy.
  4:33pm Holly in NC:

Nervebreakers! BTW, anyone on Twitter, T. Tex Edwards is 1 of the few people you really need to follow for music news..
Avatar 4:33pm AP Paulie B:

Adrey, they're pals of mine, Check out their bandcamp (kerbivore.bandcamp.com) and Facebook (www.facebook.com...)
  4:36pm SteveL:

Hey Holly. Hot where you are?
  4:39pm Julie:

@JoeD I was BORN lame
  4:39pm Holly in NC:

Hi SreveL! It's only 90F , I might need to get a sweater out of the cedar chest ;-) Seriously, a huge relief. NEVER thought I'd say that about 90F!
  4:45pm SteveL:

Not bad, about that here. Following the 100+ week it seems a bit wimpy. Rain is not so much threatening as teasing.
  4:46pm Mike East:

Great show so far, TT! I'm hoping to leave work soon so I can catch the Lame Drivers in the car.
  4:47pm David Shortell:

@PB
"The Fabs" were the California band that once recorded the tune (featured on the Back From the Grave compilation). I never knew that New York folkie Fred Neil wrote it!
  4:49pm PB:

@David, thanks for the clarification. Ty Segall's cover is almost unrecognizable compared to Fred Neil's original but is great in its own right.
  4:54pm listener mark:

Hi Terre T !
Hi Paulie B. !
Sounds great today!
I got a big bag o' swag!
I got a big bag o' swag!
Ha ha, hee hee, ho ho,
I got a big bag o'swag!
  4:56pm SteveL:

Cheer up Mark!
  4:58pm Listener Jumpy in Brooklyn:

Yeah there was a Fred Neil article in UGLY THINGS an issue or 2 back that mentioned the Fabs (not shorthand for the Beatles) cover.
  4:58pm Listener Jumpy in Brooklyn:

Ty's sounds a lot like The Fabs, though.
  5:02pm Nate K:

The Lame Drivers hit machine going strong right now.
  5:18pm Emily G:

LAMES sounding great
  5:20pm Holly in NC:

So good
  5:25pm Holly in NC:

Oh my gosh! Lame Drivers playing at a really cool & good Mexican restaurant in Durham, whoo hoo!
  5:26pm Holly in NC:

Oh wait, A really good, cool CLOSED Mexican restaurant (moved to Raleigh wtf). Guys, you need to rebook elsewhere... shit.
Avatar 5:30pm AP Paulie B:

@Holly: the Durham gig has been moved to The Layabout. Just updated the playlist to reflect this. Thanks for the heads up!
  5:35pm Ignore Function:

Great show bands and TT
  5:36pm Holly in NC:

Good grief, I'm leaving tomorrow morning for dogsitting gig right up the street from that (Layabout) house!
  5:54pm jodddii:

  5:58pm JW:

Thanks fer the nod to the James Gang. Life's Been Good to Me So Far...
  5:59pm Listener Jumpy in Brooklyn:
