  9:47pm upstatesean:

Dan, I been downloading your shows for a while now -- so, so good! But I managed to alienate my commuting buddy (I played it in the car...) That is the only problem with fmu: so many regular people won't give it a chance, so you are stuck listening by yourself, as if it is some kind of secret!
  9:47pm monte:

  9:57pm Looms:

All good European people are asleep and dreaming by now, Daniel ;)

btw, I feel sad about İlhan Mimaroğlu's passing but the great man was 86! Hope I'll live that long.
  9:58pm ~L:

I am reading a book on the brain by David Eagleman called "Incognito: the secret lives of the brain." Even if you really tried to not think of anything, (that may be called "mediation" btw), your brain is basically doing millions of complex things you are unaware of, of which, whether you choose or not, you have no control.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:59pm D. Blumin:

If you keep playing it, they'll know UPSean! That's the dark plan!
  10:01pm Music Man:

What time does Thought Broadcast perform?

  10:34pm Wikipedia:

Thought broadcasting is a positive symptom of schizophrenia in the diagnostic process undertaken by mental health professionals. Thought broadcasting has been suggested as one of the so-called "first rank symptoms" (Schneider's first-rank symptoms) believed to distinguish schizophrenia from other psychotic disorders.

During thought broadcasting people describe their thoughts being broadcast, or available, to others. This is a passive process and not something the person can control. It is different from people being able to read their thoughts in that when thoughts are being broadcast they are available to anybody. To exemplify, thought broadcast can be compared to radio transmitting as opposed to telephone connections. Note there is no implication that their thoughts are being heard.

In mild manifestations, a person with this thought disorder may doubt their perception of thought broadcasting. Infrequent instances are considered to be mild. When thought broadcasting occurs on a regular basis, the disorder begins to affect behavior and interferes with the person's ability to function in society. This is considered to be a severe manifestation of thought broadcasting that is usually indicative of schizophrenia.

  11:41pm upstatesean:

This is such great driving music. My commuting buddy is a dolt.
Only problem is occasionally when you are driving, the sounds make you think that maybe there is something wrong with the car.
