Both times I saw Doug Sahm in 1973 in Philadelphia, he had Vassar Clements playing fiddle for his band. I wonder if any tapes of this short period exist?

I googled The Royal Teens and found out I was misinformed. Billy Joel was not a member of the group. Born in '49, he would have been 9 years old when the song was recorded!

TOM I LIVE In philadelphia.What venues did Doug play at.I saw him with Texas Tornadoes at TLA.
