Gettin all Q104 on ya   Been diggin in the 12" walls of the library again this week. Tryin to find the perfect yacht, the perfect boogie, the perfect power pop. Picks this week from Billy Squier, English Dogs, (late era) John Entwsitle, Minnie Riperton, EPMD.

Screams from Phil Minton in there, scrappy electronic trash from Enema Syringe, and a comp of electronic music on Smithsonian Folkways recs???

Dancing on my (broken??) foot   Half Pint, late era Spinners, Spontaneous Combustion (prog from '72)...oh, so much more. I'm havin fun in here, it's true.

Spectre Folk   New LP called The Ancient Storm.
I keep coming back to this Sun Araw/M. Geddes Gengras/Congos CD   Because it's so good! Brand new!
Sports   Caethua sideproject in which she pitches her voice down to sound like a dude.
A tour of the museum of endangered sounds
James Ferraro   How'd this guy get into the Italian fashion magazine circuit? Dunno how this guy made it happen. This is his new CD, Bodyguard.
Horns and computers playing together   This cool LP from Donald Erb called...very descriptively...Music for Instruments & Electronic Sounds. We hear the piece In No Strange Land.
Deutsche-Amerikanischen Ferundschaft   Indeed...cool German band. Just reissued, originally from 1979.
Commodore 64 musik   I'm not a man who loves chiptunes, but this is pretty nice. New comp called "Sid Chip Sounds: The Music of The Commodore 64"
A 10 month old child   She got a split record with Yamantaka Eye shaped like a heart.
Cuticle   New LP on Not Not Fun.
...smooshy sounds...
