Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:15am
Scott:

  9:17am
DCE:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:20am

I hid the imposter's comments. I can barely keep up. I'm just a volunteer here.

this year has not been any good to some figures from the 90's indie rock scene, cynthia dall has also passed away. that's sad, feels like the passing of a generation.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:41am
Scott:

Way too soon for that, too!

pgw in mntclr:

yeah, i really loved that Rodan album. Jeff Mueller lived in Philadelphia for a little bit, and i got to meet him and Jason. they were both very nice, but i was totally nervous and starstruck around them. Jason will be missed.

To this day one of my all-time favorite shows was Rodan, 68 Comeback and Rocket From the Crypt in February 1994. It was a blast.

Just tuning in. Thank you for devoting some time to Jason Noble today. I saw an early version of Rodan play in Louisville, when they were going under a different name. They opened the show by standing behind a big sheet and eating apples in front of the mics. It was awesome. Got to see them play a few times -- awesome folks. He'll be missed.
  10:12am
B23:

Yeah I was really digging on Rodan The Everyday World of Bodies
  10:13am
steve from cleve:

CP, did you make trips down to Louisville to see any of the great 90s bands?
  10:17am
pgw in mntclr:

i always envisioned the drummer just vanishing in a flash of smoke a la Mick Shrimpton at the end of "The Everyday World of Bodies". so many fills and time changes.
  10:25am
Cheri Pi:

No SfC, local Cincy band Brainiac played with them a bunch but we never went down to see it. too bad....
