This is a more faithful cover than the Rare Earth version I played last night.

Hey Evan!
This Rascals version of "Slow Down" is very good! I was just thinking of this when Ted played Larry Williams up there. I know the Beatles recorded some of his songs, but I haven't really heard Larry's originals.

Tom:
I saw The Byrds in 1969 at the Atlantic City Pop Festival, and their album, 5th Dimension, is my all time favorite!

Matt from Springfield:
Wow Tom! Who else was playing there?

Matt from Springfield:
Studio A or C, be wary of Turntable 2! Don't know what it is about #2! :)
And yes Ted, good Single File! Something for everyone!
Atlantic City Pop Festival was held a few weeks before Woodstock. It didn't rain at all for the 3 day festival. Most of the bands that played Woodstock appeared on stage. Highlights were Butterfield, CCR, Booker T. and the MGs, and B.B. King.
4:30pm
Matt from Springfield:
Love Slade--and influenced as the 'Ments were by power pop, they sound SO natural tackling "Gudbye T'Jane"!
4:34pm
Matt from Springfield:
@Tom: Sounds cool! Bluesy and Byrdsy.
4:38pm
Matt from Springfield:
Wow, King of Soul doing "Something"! YES!
Good job bringing it back to the need to pledge! I'm going to drop some bills in the new Turntable #2 jar when I get home.
4:40pm
Matt from Springfield:
Memphis Jug Band!!! Unmistakable sound!
4:48pm
Matt from Springfield:
"Victoria"!! Another unmistakable riff, it brings me happiness!

Matt from Springfield:
Most people like Eddie Floyd, though not all want to allocate Federal money to him. (I think Eddie Floyd needs MORE Federal funds...)
