Listener comments!

  3:04pm Danne D:

Yay Terre :)
  3:05pm Danne D:

Any recommendations for good cheap over the ear headphones peoples? :) Figured I'd throw out there. I'm listening on rest-stop garbage ones right now :(
  3:07pm listener mark:

Woooot! Terre T. on the radio! Rock and Roll!
Hi Paulie B. !
  3:08pm Danne D:

I like that Paulie B guy :) s'up Mark
  3:13pm Mike East:

@Danne D - I got a pair of Shure SRH240A's with some credit card rewards dollars that I think retail for about 60 bucks. They worked great for a while, but I got the cord snagged on something and now the Right channel is out. The sounded great up until then. Cnet.com is a great place to compare reviews for headphones.
  3:15pm Cliff:

Danne D - Anything from Sennheiser is usually pretty good.
  3:15pm Mike East:

anybody know what kind of bass rig was used on the Cherry Blossom Clinic Revisited record? To my ears, its sounds like maybe a Rickenbacker through an Ampeg rig...but I'd really be curious. The bass really kicks ass in that track.
  3:17pm listener mark:

Hi Dannae D. @ Mike East- I listen with audio-technica ATH-M40fs. Sound is great and they're easy on the ears.
  3:19pm Mike East:

also curious if there's any effects in use - overdrive and what have you.

Yes, sennheiser and AKG are pretty reliable. Sony MDR7506's are pretty solid workhorses, too, but will set you back 100 bucks.
Thanks mark - I'm actually in the market, too - I've got two pairs of cans that both have bad channels - if only I could figure out a way to fuse them together to regain Stereo.
  3:20pm Martin:

Damn. Moon Duo is AWESOME. Thanks Terre!
  3:25pm Michael K.:

Hi Terre ! I'm listening Pisa, Italy !!! Gotta' go play soon, but can't wait to hear the rest of show on the archives!!
LuV YoU !!!!
  3:25pm Danne D:

Thanks guys :)

This is the kind of situation where buying everything on line fails b/c I want 'em now so I can use 'em on FMU right away. Probably will go to Beach Camera tomorrow. Nice that a couple of these online retailers have their physical stores nearby
  3:28pm Mike East:

let me know what you decide Danne D!
  3:29pm Jim B:

Danne D, don't count on Beach having everything in stock that's online; often they have to order it.
  3:30pm seang:

I don't want kids, I'm not married, but I am romantic as hell. I can make a trip to the local pharmacy into a MAJOR event.
  3:32pm Mike East:

@seang - I've turned grocery shopping into a religious rite.
  3:34pm Listener Jumpy in Brooklyn:

DMZ!
  3:35pm Listener Jumpy in Brooklyn:

How did DMZ miss?
  3:46pm Terre T:

Hi Danne D, Jumpy, Mike, Mark and everyone I missed! Thanks for tuning in!!!
  3:48pm BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Good afternoon all! Arriving late. AT&T internet outage in my neighborhood. I'm at the library downtown. I'm easy to spot. I'm the only one dancing on my chair. No, I will not shhhhhhhhhhhhh.
  3:50pm Listener Jumpy in Brooklyn:

Underrated Who song.
  3:53pm michael and birgit:

  3:58pm Danne D:

  3:59pm Danne D:

I love that BGZ is channeling his inner Jumpy at the library :)
  4:00pm Danne D:

  4:01pm Danne D:

  4:01pm r i s k y:

  4:07pm Danne D:

I wonder if the Cherry Blossom Clinic is going to be joining the Chuck Woolery Radio network soon...
  4:09pm Danne D:

Hmm, Todd's had a lot of fill-ins of late. Perhaps he's been poisoning DJs on the sly? ;)
  4:12pm BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

This Mess Around record kicks all sorts of sass! Thanks for turning me on to them, Terre. I ordered the record after hearing "Drunken Words" on your show a few weeks back.
  4:13pm Terre T:

Cherry Blossom Clinic will NEVER BE joining the Chuck Woolery Radio network
  4:14pm listener mark:

Hi Sue P.!
  4:14pm seang:

oh yeah
  4:15pm Listener Jumpy in Brooklyn:

Todd, yes. Rod, no.
  4:15pm Listener Jumpy in Brooklyn:

What was her band name??
  4:16pm BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

This is "Friday Night."
  4:17pm Danne D:

Dang Terre - where will I ever get my news from without being able to hear Chuck? ;o)
  4:17pm BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Previous comment in reference to the Spider Bags song played. :)
  4:18pm Danne D:

What I love about his song "Naturally Stoned" is that when youthink about it, that only precludes synthetic drugs like LSD.
  4:18pm Danne D:

That should be a silent marathon threat - 3 hours of woolery in november if station misses goal ;)
  4:20pm RCinMT:

Nope I'm hearing it here in Montana too
  4:22pm BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

@Danne: I'm not sure. Usually I hear any edits on the stream.
  4:23pm Terre T:

And here's Mike Sin dropping by the show!
  4:24pm Danne D:

(I'm sticking to my story BGZ) :)
  4:28pm Elias:

Let's all stick with that story.
  4:29pm Danne D:

I just know that I won't mess around with Terre :)
  4:32pm Ignore Function:

I'm gonna see Cheap Time tomorrow! Terre should get those guys on the show some time.
  4:33pm Elias:

We the listeners will form a mighty human shield...Nobody gonna mess with Terre!
  4:45pm BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

I wonder if Audacity [the band] used Audacity [the audio program] in the creation of this song.
  5:07pm John Cale:

Nice cover.
  5:24pm Danne D:

I'm impressed at how Cheap Time is gonna be able to make their show in Cincy tonight after leaving Jersey City ;O)
  5:25pm Cheap Time:
