Back in 1979, I made the decision to accept Dr Demento as my personal savior. Since then, with the help of his apostles Spike, Al, Stan and Black-Eyed Susan Brown, I have made it my mission to spread the Gospel of the Firesign and the Word of the Waller. Please join me and my fellow seekers as we find the Wisdom we crave and the Rapture we deserve. A new sermon every Tuesday (and NO collection plate!).

Characters  CONGRATULATIONS TOM DEWEY   Favoriting On Oct 1, my computer crashed and burned. I have minimal capabilities here, but can't speak to you with a playlist and can't create large files (the computer I'm using has no sound card!). Everything else, I have to do on my wife's Mac, which is torture (Apple is the Devil!). Thank you for your patience. I hope to be back up and running sometime soon.
Characters  I WISH I WAS IN CHICAGO (for St Valentine's Day)   Favoriting This week we bring you more "SMASH FLOPS" as we at Bitslap Central continue to flop around like fish in a sandbox.
Characters  WE'RE DEPENDING ON YOU, GENERAL CUSTER   Favoriting

Characters  THERE'LL ALWAYS BE FORTY EIGHT STATES   Favoriting By the way, The Characters have another record, which we may get to, called "Sing a Song of Sickness." Their members are: Carmen Baccari, Fred Baccari, Charles Hunt and Johnny Ricco. All the songs were written by Dick Sherman and Milt Larsen. Together they had a semi-successful run in Las vegas, Lake Tahoe and Reno, but don't seem to show up anywhere else. You can find more on the CD version, which includes some other material and skips a few of the tunes presented here.
