Order and disorder in a freeform haze of terribly-played guitars, shorted-out electronics, found audio detritus, strange sounds from strange lands all around. Psych-punk-junk, collage, even pop. Lots of in-studio live performances to boot.

Blues Control | Live in the WFMU Studio | Engineered by Dave Mambach | The duo of Russ Waterhouse and Lea Cho make their way out of their current digs in rural Pennsylvania for a return visit to BT's program this afternoon. Hot on the heels of some firstime Australian dates and a Drag City label release "Valley Tangents", Blues Control visit the studio to no doubt showcase recent sounds live. Piano, drum machines, guitars, tapes and effects all meld into a hazy blur of arena rock, prog, dub, and what an astute observer proclaimed to be ""mellow drug-mospheres around a crisp keyboard centre." Vince Guaraldi, '80s Groundhogs, and Cluster seem to have found a common ground.
