Anybody home? I mean there?

Richard D:

Hey Matt! You and Ted were off the hook last week. Loved the Berry sides. Need to do more of this artist salute and less of the entire month of one person salute.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:20pm

Just a reminder to everybody that the silent fundraiser is still going on. You can still pledge to my show even though I've reached my (admittedly miniscule) goal, you can pledge to WFMU in general or pick another show. Pledge to Ted's show!

LULU:

Hellois it live? Dear host - could you send me MP3 of beautifull song that i head at your station? it is ONE EYED JACKS "Die today" please
  2:18pm
Matt from Springfield:

Oakland--by counting them towards SF it's probably a lot easier to get Bay Area soul.

Bobby Freeman's "C'mon and Swim" was a comeback record, written, produced and recorded by a young 20 year old Sylvester Stewart...later known as Sly Stone!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:37pm
Fiveash:

Hey there Tom.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:40pm

The Velvets are cited as an influence by too many wimpy bands who don't get what a tuff rock & roll band they were. Just my opinion.

Jro:

remember Detroit '68, when Jerry and Phil went into spacejam and totally looked into my eyes?
  8:29pm
sprattle:

Even though San Francisco won the other World Series, I fear that Detroit's won this one. (And they have an incredible bench, with all the Fortune and Motown Records people who sat out this contest.) Is there any way for San Francisco to draft John Lee Hooker? (He spent the last 30 years of his life in the Bay Area.)
