I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

(continuing) Unless you're a sauna gnome. They're not dusty. They're sweaty and sooty. But not Sooty. That's a bear.

@bryce: snorting or sorting? Either way, we understand it may take some time.

Where's my dreamport?
  12:47pm

@ngh: I think on new computers, it's next to the USB port.
  12:49pm
Wishful Thinker:

Is a dreamport dreamportable when you change carriers?
  12:58pm
DCE:

I think I left my dreamport in a little baggie in my underwear drawer....

@DCE - I'm sick of Halloween too. Life is scary enough.

I have to say that Toam Yum is the most aptly named food in the world! First time I tried it - delish.
  1:39pm
DCE:

it can be, hubba, especially when you have friends with terminal illnesses and such.
  1:40pm
Cecile:

I'm going to the Halloween party at the gay dance club down the street from me tomorrow. My neighbor lady is getting the door and it's a benefit for the local dog park. They also have great potato chips.
  1:41pm
DCE:

what's your costume, Cecile?
  1:42pm
Carmichael:

I'm sick of people being zombies. Almost as annoying as mimes. Or those faux urchin Christmas carolers.
  1:42pm
hubba:

I'm just too overwhlemed by daily routine to enjoy anything.
  1:43pm
hubba:

I wish we had trick-or-treaters, but no one lets their kids walk the streets downtown.
  1:44pm
Cecile:

I think I'm going to deck my generic witch's hat with some sewing implements and go as the stich witch.

I was going to wear all my black and white patterned clothes and stick black signal dot stickers on my white tights and go as zip-a-tone, but I thought that was a little too high concept.
  1:45pm
DCE:

...bryce...that guy again...
  1:45pm
hubba:

some kids walk the streets of downtown... they usually have the best drugs.

I'll be dressing up as a persistently unemployed yet somehow still lovable curmudgeon, cut down in the prime of his years by a bitter and uncaring universe. There will be beer and most likely, a takeaway curry.
  1:57pm
BSI:

btw, howdy y'all.
brilliant sounds as always...

  2:03pm
BSI:

Hey now, I've probably still got some old chartpak zipatone sheets around here somewhere. & not afraid to use 'em.
  2:09pm
northguineahills:

My ex and I were going to go as caricatures of each other, but, that's obviously ain't happening now.
  2:14pm
Carmichael:

I used to wear my old Air Force flight suit and an alien mask as an employee of Area 51. But now I'm a bit too ... "generously" proportioned to fit into it.
  2:14pm
Cecile:

ex? Aw, bummer.

hahah, BSI. I was looking up Baby Teeth for a project, and I think they made some ugly changes to the original font. Not happy with it at all...
Avatar 2:16pm
bryce:

they still make letraset??!?
  2:17pm
Cecile:

I think they do, but scrapbookers use it now.
  2:19pm
BSI:

The Utrecht store here (downtown DC) used to have a small room dedicated to dry-transfer letters, symbols, rules, halftones, etc... will now dramatically stab myself inna heart with neglected burnisher...
  2:20pm
tim from champaign:

Cecille - I hate to admit this but I finally had an Oarsmen last week. I think it might be my favorite Bells yet.
Avatar 2:21pm
bryce:

just drink some maskoid reducer
  2:22pm
Cecile:

tim, it is declious.
Don't apologize - I've been drinking Bell's for years, and only this year did I try Oarsman.
Avatar 2:23pm
bryce:

(oops, sorry, that was @bsi)
  2:24pm
BSI:

Though the Bells Oarsman probably goes better with the curry than the maskoid reducer...
  2:26pm
tim from champaign:

I got burned out on the Bells after living in Kalamazoo for 15 years but now I'm gung-ho again. I was in Ann Arbor last week and Ashley's had 27 taps of Bells going.
  2:26pm
zoot:

Yowza! What an incredible piece. Thank you for playing it.
  2:26pm
Carmichael:

Hey! A beer I don't know about?!? Crap, I need to get some of that into my system pronto. Too bad they prolly don't sell that in Californ-eye-ay.
  2:28pm
Cecile:

Ashley's!
I miss Ann Arbor sometimes although it has changed so much.

If you go to Wazoo Used Records, look up the owner, John, and tell him "Cecile says hi."
  2:29pm
Cecile:

Carm, it is unique. It is fermented in a different way and very tart and lemony although there is no citrus in it. Very refreshing.
  2:31pm
BSI:

Just finished a contract position down in northern VA which put me within reach of one of those "total wine" style mega-stores with the great import beer selection. It feels dirty, like getting fine bitter at a friggin' Walmart or something, but it had to be done. So I'm set for the hurricane thing.
  2:31pm
tim from champaign:

Sorry Carmichael. Last I heard Bells hasn't made it too far west of the Mississippi.

Cecile - I went to Wazoo! John dug out a copy of Terry Reid's self titled LP from the back to sell to me. Nice guy. Encore is still there too.
  2:33pm
northguineahills:

On my way to get some last minute ingredients for my chili (entering a chili cook-off tomorrow), I'm going to stop for a beer... or two, will probably miss a bit of Kurt's show.
Avatar 2:36pm

zoot, i know! holy crap, that one really glued me to the chair. they really made something lovely...
  2:36pm
Cecile:

that's so cool, tim.
I worked there from 86-87 and still swing by when I'm there.
  2:38pm
BSI:

Belated agreement & high-fives for the Maranha / Z'ev piece. Totally preposterously dug it.
  2:43pm
Loren:

This last half hour or so of music has been sublime.
  2:44pm
DCE:

the show has taken a turn for the lovely!
  2:44pm
tim from champaign:

Great show, Bryce...particularly this set.
