Listener comments!

  3:02pm DCE:

Scott will be TCoB right now!
  3:05pm Matt from Springfield:

Hi Scott! DCE! Everyone!
TCo that B!
  3:12pm pierre:

`Bonsoir Scott !
need your magic right now !

by the way people of the radio, what is your best break-up song for heartbroken fellows out there ?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:14pm Scott W:

'allo me dudes! oh no pierre, do you need a breakup song?
  3:14pm Matt from Springfield:

Awww, sorry to hear that pierre :(
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:15pm Scott W:

seems i just gave you a good one (TVZ)
  3:17pm Matt from Springfield:

Townes Van Z was a good one! For me, "Pale Blue Eyes" or something minimalist yet still emotional.
  3:18pm Lulu:

this sounds very cool
  3:20pm Matt from Springfield:

These wouldn't be breakup songs, but I like how in "I Believe In Father Christmas" and "Rainbow Connection", they go into a harsh, iconoclastic second verse, then pull you back and leave you with a nicer, philosophic ending. I should write a breakup song with that kind of feel...
  3:20pm pete g:

Great set Scott!
  3:21pm Matt from Springfield:

Lulu: first time hearing Big Blood & The Wicked Hex!
  3:21pm pierre:

Scott : very good one thanks. I'm thinking, the Big Blood kind of does it for me as well. :)

@Matt from S: you guys are always here for the good vibes, thx.
  3:22pm Mark:

Scott - Long time WoofMoo listener, but 1st time I have tuned in your show. Recently retired and moved from Jersey to Vermont, so more time to listen via the net. Really great set so far. Thanks
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:24pm Scott W:

Thanks Pete, nice to see you here! Mark, thanks for the kind words - welcome!
  3:25pm pierre:

Welcome Mark !
this show's rad.
  3:25pm Webhamster Henry:

.. and you can all be long time listeners if you pledge and help keep the programming (and streams and transmitters) humming!
  3:31pm pierre:

This really is doing me good.
Amazing how the fact that listening to a radio/music can do to your soul.
  3:31pm green mountain man mark:

welcome to VT Mark. Lot of Marks live in VT.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:31pm Scott W:

Hey folks, WFMU's important in your life, right? Please help us get over this weird post-storm $$$-crisis and make a nice'a pledge! Thank you to Springfield Matt, Mayuko, and all the other sweet peops who've already done so!
  3:32pm Matt from Springfield:

Anytime, pierre.

@Mark: So glad you're broadening your FMU experience! Great way to retire! :)
  3:32pm Chris from DC:

You speak the truth Pierre.
  3:33pm Mark:

Hurricane Sandy pledge already submitted. Have to keep the airwaves full of FMU tunes
  3:33pm pierre:

@Scott : I'm giving you money as I type this
  3:36pm Matt from Springfield:

My pleazh, Scott! Thank YOU!

Only 9% left to go! Help us finish trudging through the Hurricane waters!
  3:36pm Matt from Springfield:

@pierre: Way ahead of me! :D
  3:37pm Cheri Pi:

Pierre, my poor baby! This is terrible news.
  3:39pm MD:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:39pm Scott W:

awww, thank you Pierre, my friend!
  3:40pm pierre:

@ Matt : I think my pledge will be notice afterwards :)

@Cheri Pi : thanks, but if i wasn't in that state, i might not be able to notice all your good vibes and love from here. i'll get over this one day, you know. Pretty normal after all :)
  3:42pm pierre:

More than welcome Scott, it really is my pleasure, and thanks to you.
i'm guessing any helps can really help, and although i'm not drowning under piles of money, this is the best money i've spent in the last couple of month.
  3:44pm bed bully:

when you said 18 minutes of psychedelic sax, I immediately thought you meant this guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxopViU98Xo
  3:44pm Cheri Pi:

Pierre, we'll get through this thing together, one doesn't simply break-up with one 'FMU listener without breaking up with all of us. (too dramatic?)
  3:46pm Carmichael:

Hiya Scotty. hello everyone. Spacy music, just right for Monday afternoon in the hot seat.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:46pm Scott W:

bed bully! CP! good to see you both. digging the heavy melodrama CP!
  3:48pm Matt from Springfield:

Hi Carm!

@Cheri: Too NATO Article 5, maybe? :)
But, a friend of WFMU is a friend of us all! So we're with ya, pierre!
  3:53pm DCE:

this is wonderful!
  3:54pm tim from champaign:

Urban Sax has the psychedelic sax but Spyro Gyra is more saxual.
  3:54pm Sergeus:

What the wonderful sax
  3:54pm Lulu:

Matt from Springfield: I think so...?
  3:57pm tim from champaign:

John Butcher's cool but not as hip as the Rippingtons. Jazz brunch, baby!!!!
  3:58pm doca:

for a moment i thought this was borbetomagus.
  4:03pm Carmichael:

Lots of speaker panning ... whoa. It's like listening to a ping pong match, only cooler.
  4:04pm Matt from Springfield:

What's the free psychedelic poster look like!?!
  4:05pm tim from champaign:

This Intersystems could have been featured on your synth show last week, Scott.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:06pm Scott W:

I've got a lot left over, Tim! Matt, here's the joke: no poster. Just a title
  4:08pm tim from champaign:

Keep it coming! That show was a blast.
  4:12pm Sergeus:

Great show. Thanx
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:12pm Scott W:

we'll be getting back there
  4:16pm brycepunk:

Loving your show. Thank you.
  4:17pm Matt from Springfield:

@Scott: Eh, figures, those jokesters :)
  4:18pm pierre:

@Cheri Pi : the drama, i doesn't mind. It really warm my heart. That a thing I like about wmfu.

@Matt : thanks man.

The connection we share through this radio. Is quite powerfull i must say.

Some beers will be shared, some laughs will be heard !!!
  4:20pm Cheri Pi:

Salut! I willl drink for you after work in 1 hour Pierre!
  4:22pm Matt from Springfield:

3:33--in the middle of infinity, and one minute before ambient silence...
  4:22pm pierre:

@Cheri Pi : that's very thougthfull of you. :) I'm having one for all of you in here. Stout, with a hint of cinammon.
  4:23pm BSI:

Fashionably late!

  4:23pm Hilary:

I just bought my powerball ticket. I'm going to win and save wfmu.
  4:24pm BSI:

[quick scan of what the heck are they talking about]
Sorry to hear, Pierre. As for "healing songs," in my opinion there's nothing more "medicinal" than Motorhead. Ever.
  4:28pm pierre:

@BSI : i'm building my "broken-heart wfmu advices" compilation right now :)
Thank you man. (btw, did you receive my FB message?)
  4:28pm Peter/Shamblers!:

Synth leftovers!! Yes please
  4:29pm pierre:

@BSI : (sorry, just saw it :) )

  4:34pm Matt from Springfield:

  5:29pm Carmichael:

Hey, I'm just reading Townshend's new biography. And just re-enjoying the Who after a long lull.
  5:30pm Carmichael:

Oh, and if anyone has a lead on Townshend's Deep End concert on DVD, I'm all ears.
  5:31pm Webhamster Henry:

More John Peel!
  5:43pm pierre:

this set is powerfull, I must say
  5:43pm Racharoo:
