Joi "Mrs. Superman" Lansing had a bang of a time in the beginning of Touch Of Evil.

So, Rex, you're saying the sound on that now-broken CD-R was supposed to be a canine howl? I never did get that. Sounded more like something between an echoing ricocheting bullet sound effect and a siren of some sort.
I miss the "drunken" piano player up and down the keyboard loop. But at least you brought back the bubbling sound of the overheated still.
1:46pm
Joe Non Papa:
Zacherley used a similar gurgling sound for his wife who lived in a crate. "Yes, my dear!"
1:46pm
Robert:
Not that there's anything inappropriate for your show about a gunshot, ricocheting bullet, or siren. Or a wolf howl if you heard it as that.
1:48pm
Robert:
Yes, the gurgling fits both the themes of moonshine & mad scientist -- perfect for Fool's Paradise.

Robot Monster is available on DVD, from Image Entertainment, and it includes the theatrical trailer. The director, Phil Tucker, commited suicide soon after the picture was released.

ricardo Montalban:
I've seen the movie, trust me, Rex, while seemingly inappropriate, I had the same reaction upon learning that little factoid.
Brilliant show, by the way.
