Danne Duckcaller:

Hearty Handshakes to all of you Hearty Hearted Heartthrobs
  7:03pm
Devin Gristlewater:

Wellll Huloo Danne Duckcaller and The Invisibles!
  7:03pm
Honey U. Kettlewater:

Clammy hand.
  7:04pm
Philo Gristle:

Hammy gland. Hello!
  7:05pm
Devin Gristlewater:

Oh no! I forgot to read Philo's magician article.
I saw my lime green note and everything. I need a better way to remember to do things. Loose scraps of paper in my pocket do not seem to be cutting it.
  7:07pm
Philo C. Gristlecorn:

I do that all the time. I wish all those scraps were money.... then I'd be rich!
  7:09pm
boomba:

"I named my cat enigma because he's a dog"
  7:13pm
Philo C. Gristlecorn:

Nobody knows sword from sword?
  7:13pm
Devin Gristlewater:

Party tents one and all!
  7:17pm
Philo C. Gristlecorn:

"I'll be Frank." No, you be Hearty!
  7:19pm
Devin Gristlewater:

I would happily read a line of Hearty White penned children's (or other humans) fantasy/science fiction books.
  7:19pm
Honey U. Kettlewater:

When Philo reaches his first $2 billion, he promises to Fly Me to the Moon via NASA's proposed tourist program.
  7:20pm
Devin Gristlewater:

Proposed Tourist Program? Is *that* the NASA news that happened earlier?
  7:21pm
Philo C. Gristlecorn:

I'll look your line, and raise you a paragraph. Hook, sinker!
  7:22pm
dpcd:

FOCUS. Apparently the lack of which (on your part) is why I like this show so much! Or are you so super-focused and just mean to point out our misdirected attention?
Again, is it stream of conscious style, a writing exercise- what is going on, I want to know. Admittedly, weak as well. Why else would it take me 3x on the archives to hear all this stuff?
  7:22pm
Devin Gristlewater:

My mouth is too small for my teeth.
  7:22pm
Honey U. Kettlewater:

Only 1.5 billion for two.
  7:25pm
Devin Gristlewater:

Well that's affordable. I wonder how many people it would take for that to be profitable for them. But I guess there are probably a lot of people who have so much money they've probably experienced so much on earth that they're ready to make the leap to space.
  7:27pm
Philo C. Gristlecorn:

I think it would take one person for it to be profitable. Never give a sucker an even break!
  7:27pm
Honey U. Kettlewater:

So, Philo, how many $50 book covers will that take?
  7:29pm
Devin Gristlewater:

Do you think they could finance a whole project with one space rube? I would think that they'd only try something like space tourism, if they thought it would net them enough money to fund some project that they're trying to start up. Maybe they'll finally go somewhere that isn't the moon for the __th time.
  7:29pm
Mike East:

Hey there folks. Sooo, this guy is a freakin genius, right?
  7:29pm
Honey U. Kettlewater:

Never give a Zuckerberg an even break.
  7:31pm
Honey U. Kettlewater:

That aspic of his personality has not gelled.
  7:32pm
Philo C. Gristlecorn:

Greets, Mike!

@Devin Poobably not, but I have to say the billions sound a bit steep. But I think SPACE RUBE sounds like a great title for a book by Hearty White.
  7:34pm
Devin Gristlewater:

Speaking of aspic... Faskinating: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Oeufs_en_gel%C3%A9e_p1150406.jpg
  7:35pm
Honey U. Kettlewater:

The term "genius" has been so overused it has become meaningless.
  7:36pm
dpcd:

@devin- The CBC just ruined your plan this evening. They broadcast the cheap deal available to us when we die. Be compressed into a lipstick-size tube and they will blast your remains up to space and back (with other dead folks) - and you will have been to Space.
  7:36pm
Devin Gristlewater:

That is why I am pushing for the adoption of the new word "genuineus"
  7:36pm
Philo C. Gristlecorn:

Always wanted to see Anthony Mann's film DANDY IN THE ASPIC with Laurence Harvey. But I never did. That's all I know about aspic. Except for the Lark's Tongue.
  7:38pm
Honey U. Kettlewater:

Good one! That food photo, otoh, kinda blecchh. That does not seem an appetizing aspic.
  7:39pm
Devin Gristlewater:

@dpcd: Sad news perhaps, but with a glimmering obsidian lining, for I have always dreamed of being a tube of lisptick.
  7:39pm
Devin Gristlewater:

"Shemp's Gambit"
  7:40pm
Honey U. Kettlewater:

I'd like to travel to the moon in a cat bus, Totoro style.
  7:41pm
Devin Gristlewater:

"Blecchh", or "bleeechhhaaa-yes!"? I don't really understand where the egg (which is what wikipedia says that is) begins and the other stuff begins. Maybe that's "blecchhh-science!"
  7:42pm
Devin Gristlewater:

If only we could go everywhere in a cat bus. Have you heard of the Cat Bus they have at the Studio Ghibli museum?
  7:42pm
Honey U. Kettlewater:

No! Do tell! :)
  7:43pm
Philo C. Gristlecorn:

we just had some delish kat pastaghetti sauce!
  7:45pm
Honey U. Kettlewater:

Film rec (if whimsy and delight are aspics of your soul): "The Red Balloon." [Mike, we found it on Hulu]
  7:45pm
Devin Gristlewater:

I will show: http://www.ghibli-museum.jp/en/images/press_poto01.jpg

It's a real honest to honesty Cat Bus that is furry and can fit all kinds of people little and otherwisely-sized.
  7:46pm
feather:

thank you for the true words, HW.
  7:46pm
Honey U. Kettlewater:

Aww, kiitos and grazie!
  7:47pm
Philo C. Gristlecorn:

Catbus!!! That one and Porco Rosso got me hooked on Maestro Miyazaki.
  7:47pm
Mike East:

re: the Red Balloon - available streaming on Netflix instant, I believe. Been on my queue for a while.
  7:48pm
Honey U. Kettlewater:

Yes, Hearty, have the backs of your loved ones!
  7:49pm
Devin Gristlewater:

Ohhh-Ho, "The Red Balloon" some old folks forced me to watch that film when I was very young. Did not enjoy it, but that was probably because I probably wanted to watch something else with more Power Rangers. I should probably see it again now that I have not watched Power Rangers in many years.
  7:49pm
Honey U. Kettlewater:

Observe the Golden Rule: If you listen for hours and give feedback to others, let others listen and feedback to you.
  7:49pm
Philo C. Gristlecorn:

Perfect little big 30 min film.
  7:51pm
Devin Gristlewater:

@Philo: Had the pleasure of getting to see "Spirited Away" on the big screen again the other week. Really do like that movie quite a lot. So much work and thought put into every moment of it.
  7:51pm
Danne Duckcaller:

Public Enemy :) newly inducted to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
  7:52pm
Mike East:

whoa - only 30 min? tomorrow AM 4 sure
  7:52pm
Honey U. Kettlewater:

"Kiki's Delivery Service" seemed to borrow -- was a bit of an homage? -- from "The Red Balloon." Did you see the former anime?
  7:54pm
Honey U. Kettlewater:

Factors of age and gender.
  7:54pm
Devin Gristlewater:

No, I should. For someone who likes "Spirited Away" so much, I have seen a very small number of Miyazaki films.
  7:54pm
Danne Duckcaller:

Have a good night Hearty Souls :) Always a profound listen :)
  7:54pm
Devin Gristlewater:

Don't lick up that blood animals, I need my heart!
  7:55pm
Devin Gristlewater:

Eww there's a gross hair in these headphones. GOODBYE gross hair. Anyone noticed how hair is always gross when it's not yours?
  7:55pm
Philo C. Gristlecorn:

I'm not a big fan anime-fan generally, but in small and selected doses can be great. Remember finding an odd vhs rental cartoon in the early 80s back in Finland featuring a thief named Lupin III... changed my perspective on animated films the way Sergio Leone changed my thinking of the westerns. Only some 20 years later found out Miyazaki had made a Lupin III film too!
  7:56pm
Honey U. Kettlewater:

Bye! Be good and Golden, folks!
  7:57pm
Honey U. Kettlewater:

Agape.
  7:57pm
Devin Gristlewater:

Yeah, I have seen that one! There's plenty of good art out there where ever you look.
  7:57pm
Devin Gristlewater:

Have a lovely night! A grape!
  7:57pm
Philo C. Gristlecorn:

When you find it in fastfood salads on your plastic fork... it's super-gross.
  7:58pm
Philo C. Gristlecorn:

G'night, owl. In daylight.
  7:58pm
Devin Gristlewater:

Found a friend's hair in a cookie this morning, was kind of alright with it.
  7:58pm
G:

Agape agape.
