  9:12pm hamburger:

  9:14pm Hudgins:

No one here believes that this is Paris Hilton.
  9:14pm penelope etc:

  9:16pm Carl:

Less Paris Hilton, maybe. More Misfits.
  9:18pm hamburger:

over 2 hours into 2013 over here!
  9:18pm hamburger:

Paris Hilton > CS Yeh - only WFMU!
Avatar 9:20pm Dan B:

Hey rugby Rd peeeps, gotta lotta love for you all, but DO NOT doubt on the Paris -- that was totes her!!! (Plus my looping and pitch-shifting grafitti). @hamburger, you're home! Happy new year all! GDFX setting up right now, live soon!
  9:33pm Richard from Venezuela:

Happy new year to all the DJs and listeners.
  9:33pm Ike:

Sick, exhausted & stuffy, humidifying my nosehairs at home, but FMU makes it not so terrible. The upside: I don't have to face commercials & badly-performed faux-live pop music on ABC on any friends' TVs.
  9:42pm common:

happy happies!!!!
9:46pm chad from oregon (the 2013 extended re-mix edit):

Happy nearly New Year (or New Year, depending on where you are), to everyone out there in radio/internet land!
Avatar 9:48pm Dan B:

Hi @Rich, @Ike, @Common, @Chad -- happy new yearses to all and may your ailments turn to sunshine!

HNY Bas! Yay for champagne. I will be digging into some nice cava shortly.
  10:11pm ifny:

I remember Fish Heads!!! In fact back in the day I knew the lyrics by (fish) heart. Back when MuchMusic first started (Canada's equivalent to MTV) it was one of the few Canadian videos, so it got HEAVY rotation. Love it!
  10:16pm fred von helsing:

We have 2013 and y'all don't. HAH!
10:23pm chad from oregon (the 2013 extended re-mix edit):

2013 is *so* played out and over already.
  10:23pm common:

  10:29pm G:

@Richard: HNY!!!
  11:39pm G:

  11:39pm (still tipsy) Looms:

  11:46pm Ike:

Hey G, same G who mentioned Wicomico County a few days ago? Good guess!
  11:49pm Neil in Boston:

  12:01am Looms:

Bonne année WFMU!
  12:16am vespa:

Disappointing. Didn't think WFMU mocked music. Not sure but that's what it seemed like they were doing with the Phish show.
  12:18am Destroit:

Happy 2013 to all the fine listeners, as well as our fine hosts of course.
  12:25am Stephan from Cologne:

Happy New Year to everyone. The birds are singing now. Time to go to bed.

  12:37am Dave in PA:

I just woke up... what'd I miss???
  12:40am G:

@Dave: Time kept on ticking ticking ticking into the future
  12:41am Destroit:

Not sure Dave....I'm curious as well...
  12:43am Destroit:

Oh geez, Steve miller mocked Phish. Now I know why folks are so bent.

  12:52am Destroit:

  12:54am dolphin bleu:

mutherfukkerz i tuned in for bitchprintz! It takes time to change the culture of any institution and steps like a corporate policy ensure that progress is made.
  12:57am dolphin bleu:

doo yoo take requests?
  12:59am Matt from Springfield:

Happy New Year WFMU!
  1:01am Matt from Springfield:

Don't know what this is...I LIKE IT!!

Phish the band? One time I ordered a bootleg CD of the Beatles' White Album in Mono--and, the guy sent me a CD of Phish doing the White Album live, for free!! Good times.
  1:03am Dave in PA:

This is happening naked in my imagination.
  1:04am Matt from Springfield:

All "Terror-oake" is naked, at least at the imagination level.
  1:12am Dave in PA:

I love that WFMU is a judgement-free zone, but being so has its price - behold!
  1:14am G:

They are too blitzed to update the freakin playlist. We'll live :-P
  1:18am Matt from Springfield:

  1:18am dolphin bleu:

oh, fuck yeah! oh, sorry.
  1:19am Matt from Springfield:

Yeeech! At least it's after 1 a.m.--but DON'T overdo it! Especially not after 5 a.m.!
  1:21am anti-booze listenership:

  1:22am Matt from Springfield:

"Macaroni-and-cheese delivery services", you know your duty.
Blitzed AND stoned yonder??

  1:53am Kiss:

  1:54am amEdeo:

Holy crap, I passed out and just woke up. My foot is asleep but mine ears are AWAKE.
  1:55am Dave in PA:

so you're saying that your feet are 'behind' your ears?
  1:57am Dave in PA:

Bitchprintz don't give a shit.
  1:57am Matt from Springfield:

Ah, was wondering what "Hoppin' Johns" were, classic bit of soul food. And, since it has both pork and black eyed peas, it is a certified Good Luck New Year's Day meal!
  2:13am amEdeo:

And my hands are behind all of them.
  2:39am Matt from Springfield:

+7 for Brit-children's a capella "I Am The Walrus"!
  2:43am Dave in PA:

A Kerfuffle!
  2:44am Matt from Springfield:

A "Thing Bring"?
Happy New Year, all of youse, again!!!
  2:45am Matt from Springfield:

Oh, congrats to you for that "I Am The Walrus" performance! I thought it was a British found sound! Maybe it's the children you've swallowed... ;)
  2:47am Matt from Springfield:

Whippeninny, a spaced-out whipped-up hootenanny within 100 miles of Picatinny, NJ. You definitely qualify.
  2:53am Dave in PA:

why isn't Jonathan Richman like a hundred million times more famous than he is??
  2:54am Matt from Springfield:

"Road Runner" and "Tally Ho"--both recent Yo La Tengo performances by request!
  2:55am Matt from Springfield:

@Dave: Maybe all of his fans like us need to shamelessly promote Jonathan Richman until he IS that famous! :)
  2:56am Chop Scott:

Happy fresh calender rotation Gents! Cheers!!
  3:00am Steve-O:

Tally Ho? I LOVE that song! First heard it on Mary
Wing's show on 3/1......=)
  3:02am Matt from Springfield:

Cheers Chop Scott! I'll be glad to finally rotate my old calendars out!

@Steve-O: "Tally Ho" is one of the Clean's best! But virtually everything from the Clean is good--they're totally awesome!
  3:30am KP:

Hey, Matt! Happy New Yearz!
  3:31am neil:

  4:44am Elisa Shebaro:

Wishing WFMU and WFMU listeners happy 2013!!! Still alive, kicking 'n listening to WFMU in Italy on Jan. 1, 2013!! I'm really loving life right now. Thank you!
  4:44am Joshua K:

Happy new ear
  4:46am osvi:

Yo, The beats nicely covered up the impromptu "war zone" that just finished out here in the Best Coast. Thanks. WFMU destroys...
  4:48am Elisa Shebaro:

What new year resolutions are you going to break this year?
  4:57am Elisa Shebaro:

For those interested I'm trying to organize a concert for Lori Goldston in Vicenza, Italy this year. I'm trying to import quality musicians from the US but I have NO EXPERIENCE doing this. If anyone is interested here is her website.

Kind of tough to do on your own in a traditional Italian town so if anyone has any suggestions or ideas I would greatly appreciate it! For whatever it's worth I talk up WFMU all the time here.
  4:58am JUICEBOXXX:

  5:08am Elisa Shebaro:

Would be f...... awesome to somehow not only create a stronger WFMU following here in Italy but also strengthen ties between Italian music enthusiasts and WFMU somehow. WFMU IS BADLY needed here...it's badly needed everywhere but while I'm here I want to do something about it. Cheers!
  5:17am Elisa Shebaro:

I'm signing out. If anyone has any ideas or feedback about what is involved with organizing concerts please feel free to contact me. I'm on Facebook.

Again wishing you all an out of this world extraordinary 2013! Thanks!
