	12:34pm slugluv1313: best carrot cake i have EVER had is from Vegan Treats -- they are based in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania BUT they provide über-scrumptious desserts to many NYC restaurants (may have expanded to other cities too?) -- and yeah, all the stuff is totally vegan -- who woulda think it?!?

	12:37pm Droll: S1313, I'm skeptical but willing to try vegan carrot cake, but there's the delicious cream cheese topping issue on which I'm not very flexible.
	12:37pm Cecile: Wilde Roast in Mpls has a ridiculous carrot cake. Great stuff, and enough for a light meal for two.
	12:38pm Caryn: @kat: yeah, I'm worried Duane's show will have me giving stars left and right, so I'm restraining myself. I'm also worried that my early considerate starring will in a few weeks give way to giving stars to anything any DJ plays. Darn, this is hard.

	12:40pm Caryn: Only one place in the whole city sells carrot cake, and I can't afford it. Feel very jealous of people in the US right now.

	12:41pm kat330: Perhaps if I'd had any FB experience, I'd be more discerning, but this is my first "friending" and "favoriting" experience. You know how virgins are after tasting the forbidden fruit. ;)

I'm having a hard enough time being back in VA after almost 20 years on west coast (berkeley, portland) but husband wanted to move east so ugh, here I am. @BSI: yes, job boards will be my destiny next week....I will miss being able to listen to so much WFMU when I'm working again...

A bit disappointed in the former's ending (again), but pleasantly surprised by how S&A wrapped it up. @sFrances: Oh, no destination yet, just wishin' and hopin' to leave this area, as we have ever since my parents passed.

I've always been fine with it, but that's because I tend to love weirdness. S&A ends nicely, too. Did your box set have all the seasons, or was it one seaon?

	2:46pm Duane: alright northguinea!! It's a good one. The short def of balearic Cecile, is that it's the Original sound of Ibiza Spain circa 78-81 and the balearic islands. most of the sound was at a 90-110 bpm sound..usually super airy and canyonesque. Soul II Soul is a great example of that
