Because Prado was going to have to move to 3rd to cover for Chipper who retired. They got Upton Squared + Heyward outfield plus the 3rd baseman who can cover 3rd for them. Might work out.

I hear you. Prado wanted too much in arbitration, too. And he's a free agent at year's end. But he was a big fan fave and played his butt off where ever they put him. Braves fans love that attitude.

Yes, I am a Braves & Rangers fan. Loved Prado too. But supposedly this trade makes the Braves outfield possibly the best in the major leagues I hear. We'll see!
