Wellcome back, Bill! :)

Martyn:

Good morning Bill, its great you're back, I hope you're well on the road to recovery. And kudos to the missus for getting you to the studio!

And good morning all.
Avatar 3:01am
Jeff:

Phew - the big playlist machine is back up, and on even burlier hardware.
  3:02am
KP:

Hey hey hey, Bill!

Bill Mac:

Gentlemen and others, it's like I never left. Many thanks to Jeff for getting this contraption back up and running!
Avatar 3:02am
Jay/London:

hey hey it's the bill mac Show !!!! glad to see you back up as ringo said in one of his songs "step lightly "
  3:04am
Emile:

Welcome back Bill. Set 'em up and knock 'em down.
Avatar 3:04am
Bill Mac:

Step lightly indeed! BTW I'm wearing my KP shirt yet again. Fingers x'ed that I don't get my big toe caught in the hem again...
  3:08am
Chris:

Ahh, Taking Tiger Mountain By Strategy. I could measure my commute time by how far I got through that album. Thanks for the show tonight.
Avatar 3:10am
Jeff:

Excellent. No only do we have a Bill Mac returned to active duty, but I get to listen to some of the show live for a change - this is usually an archives show for me.
Avatar 3:11am
Bill Mac:

My pleasure Chris. Playing Eno had as much to do with Robert Wyatt as anything else. He's on percussion for much of the about.
Avatar 3:13am
Bill Mac:

Reminds me, a lurker by the name of Leo wrote about the mystery of my absence of late. Apparently he's a hardcore archive listener as well.
Avatar 3:13am
Bill Mac:

Yo Emile!!!! Settin em up!
  3:16am
Emile:

That particular Eno tune with the whistling always made me think of a boy scout troupe marching through the woods...
Avatar 3:19am
Bill Mac:

It reminds me of a parade of marching milkmen.... I'm literal that way.... I'm guessing the whole milkman profession has been dead in the states for some time now.... sad...

Greetings Mr & Mrs Mac. I second Martyn's comment.
Funny I played 'Before & After Science' a cupla night ago.
Hope its a loose noose, Bruce.

Bill Mac:

The missus was indeed key to getting my busted ass up here. Eno's 1st 3-4 albums were outright classics. Not to mention him being one of the forefathers of ambient music - oh and member of Roxy Music!
  3:32am
Emile:

Love this Queen tune even if its a little out of Freddie's range.
Avatar 3:34am
Jay/London:

Morning Brian .. what a morning :)
Avatar 3:35am
Bill Mac:

That tune got into my head big time this week. The 1st album has got some interesting things beyond the rock stuff I dug when I was a young pup.

Bill Mac:

Whatsup Mr Jay?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:36am
Brian in UK:

It's a beaut, Jay. Going for a tramp in the woods soon. Never seem to catch him!!!
Avatar 3:38am

Bill beautiful music and we have a clear sunshiny morning ... yeah Brian me too as soon as the show's over
Avatar 3:48am

It's cold here again.... 65 last Wednesday.. in the teens as we speak, and here I am, a fat man in shorts and a cast
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:51am

Another classic, Bill. Used to sing Lonesome Cowboy Bill riding my motorbike.

Very nice track by Pere Ubu . How does the rest of the album sound like?
Avatar 4:04am
Bill Mac:

I'm going to be checking it out a bit more. We got a demo release, so there's no info on it. David Thomas WILL come to your house to play (he and accordion only) for the reasonable sum of 999.49.
Avatar 4:16am
Jay/London:

hey bill did you catch" Iron Sky" yet ?
Avatar 4:20am
Jay/London:

the walking dead is good of what I hear of it but it's not on this side of the pond yet
Avatar 4:22am
Bill Mac:

It's pretty well done and a bit disturbing
  4:35am
Andy in Berlin:

I saw Iron Sky last year. It's the most ambitious YouTube video ever made.

Oh, and welcome back Bill!
  4:36am
Emile:

Crims!!!!
Avatar 4:37am
Jay/London:

@ Andy It's not a youtube video but a film
Avatar 4:37am
Bill Mac:

Hey Andy! Thanks, was the movie specifically made for release on youtube?
  4:40am
Andy in Berlin:

@ Bill - It was made as a theatrical film and shows as such. It just has the sensibility of a YouTube video.
  4:45am
Emile:

Gotta split Bill, have a great week and see you in the archives...
Avatar 4:46am
Bill Mac:

Cool Emile..... thanks for dropping by. Enjoy the weekend.
Avatar 4:46am
Jay/London:

here's the iron sky site www.ironsky.net... Andy .. hey did you like it ?
  4:57am
Andy in Berlin:

@Jay - as a movie, it was really pretty silly. As a cultural experience, it was sort of fun. I'm not sorry I saw it, but I don't wish for any more like it.:)
Avatar 5:00am
Jay/London:

Yes Andy it's a one off Film .. to be done just the once and yes it is a fun film :)
Avatar 5:54am
Jay/London:

Thanks bill Good to have you back on air, see you next week !
Avatar 5:54am
Bill Mac:

Well folks, a sleepy return but satisfying in the fact that it was cool to get back into it. Good to hear from people, we'll do it again next week. Happy Groundhog Day!
