My about to be 96-year-old mother-in-law is from New Orleans. We moved her up north twelve years ago. Good for her, but bad for our regular visits to NOLA. Listener 108365, Squirrel Hill it is. We live next door to one of the three massive temples in the nabe.

On that page, it mentions that if you use the promo code "Reel" you get 20% off the cost of the book. Which I did at about 1am this morning. SAD NEWS ALERT...SAD NEWS ALERT... I spoke with Michael King at Reel the other day and he said that the "Trad Dads" comp will be Reel Recordings' final release. Me very sad. Hi Shaun!

I think jazz is a good barometer of understanding and appreciating multiple genres of music. If you don't get jazz, you won't get improv, avant-garde, noise or appreciate the song craft 'more structured' genres . Just my opinion.
