  10:08am irban:

Avatar 10:09am dcp:

  10:16am Rick:

Chris, any idea where they'll be playing in May? I was going to head in from the WV panhandle but don't think I'll make it.

Avatar 10:30am pierre:

Salut Yair
Avatar 10:31am Chris from DC:

Rick: Black Cat.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:32am tim from champaign:

UV Race, Total Control and Parquet Courts would be a show for the ages.

UV Race is playing in Chicago a few days before Hozac's Blackout Fest. I really need to go to see them.
Avatar 10:35am Chris from DC:

Tim, agreed. Looking forward to Foul Swoops opening for PC tonight. Great locals.
  10:40am jlowe:

Last night I had a dream that I was stalked then attacked by a bear...never had a bear attack dream...then I turn on your show and "Bear Attack" by search party is playing...you have a new fan my friend...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:41am DCE:

I'd be pretty damn careful about hiking in the next few days, jlowe
  10:42am seang:

they're saying "varitek" not "bear attack"
  10:42am jlowe:

Thanks DCE...will do
Avatar 10:44am Faye:

Nice stuff Scott McDowell!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:45am Scott McDowell:

It's fuzzweed!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:48am Scott McDowell:

thanks jlowe.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:51am tim from champaign:

Alright! Dirtbombs - another all time favorite. I think I've seen the Dirtbombs more than any other band.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:52am Cory:

I love this song!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:56am fred:

I'm eager to hear the new Dirtbombs record. And I hope their tour will stop nearby (they haven't played in Paris in years)
  10:57am ืยฟห:

The verse phrasings on this Dirtbombs song is remarkedly similar to "Major Tom (Coming Home)" by Peter Schilling.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:58am DCE:

I agree, I thought the same thing
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:05am Greg from Bloomfield:

You still listen to fuzzweed? What is this, 10:50am?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:07am Cory:

I wrote "walk don't run" 40 yrs after the fact, shit happens.
Avatar 11:10am braveness23:

this Hal Russell's Chemical Feast is a real toe tapper...
Avatar 11:27am Fredericks:

Usually this show is very, very good. Today, it is fantastic. Fine job, Scott.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:29am Scott McDowell:

It was the Leon Russell cut that put it over, man.
Avatar 11:31am Fredericks:

You may have something there, Mr. McDowell.
Avatar 11:48am dk:

belatedly: love that tetuzi akiyama/che chen record (and pretty much everything che chen does).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:50am Scott McDowell:

Yeah DK, I love Tetuzi. He's got a record of primitive RnR riffs called Don't Forget to Boogie!
Avatar 11:51am dk:

that's the sign of a musician with a social conscience: he uses his album titles to dispense valuable safety advice.
Avatar 11:52am Chris from DC:

Wow, Salem 66, good pull.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:52am Scott McDowell:

By the way, I have that LaMonte Young LP sitting here, but couldn't fit it in today.......
  11:54am irban:

Thanks for the great show - very nice on a sick day.
Avatar 11:54am dk:

oooh, yeah, can't wait to hear that get played. both of the dodgy ones that have come out lately are completely amazing, but i think the one with him and miriam is best.
Avatar 11:56am dk:

but both of them are pretty much things where you have to listen straight through to at least one side, and the latest one is a raga split across both sides. it would've sucked to give up any of the amazing stuff in this playlist even for that much goodness.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:59am DCE:

see ya soon, Scott
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:59am Scott McDowell:

Thanks, all!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:59am fred:

Thanks Scott, I hope you'll play the LaMonte Young someday
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:00pm Scott McDowell:

I sure will, fred!
