The verse phrasings on this Dirtbombs song is remarkedly similar to "Major Tom (Coming Home)" by Peter Schilling.

belatedly: love that tetuzi akiyama/che chen record (and pretty much everything che chen does).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:50am

Yeah DK, I love Tetuzi. He's got a record of primitive RnR riffs called Don't Forget to Boogie!
Avatar 11:51am
dk:

that's the sign of a musician with a social conscience: he uses his album titles to dispense valuable safety advice.

Thanks for the great show - very nice on a sick day.
Avatar 11:54am
dk:

oooh, yeah, can't wait to hear that get played. both of the dodgy ones that have come out lately are completely amazing, but i think the one with him and miriam is best.
Avatar 11:56am
dk:

but both of them are pretty much things where you have to listen straight through to at least one side, and the latest one is a raga split across both sides. it would've sucked to give up any of the amazing stuff in this playlist even for that much goodness.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:59am
DCE:

see ya soon, Scott
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:59am

Thanks, all!
