Listener comments!

  3:03pm Jack:

You got my vote, Mike! Thanks for the Jeff Beck.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:03pm MattBelow:

I'm ready for the optical sound
Avatar 3:07pm On the Yazoo:

I remember those egg chairs. speakers were cheap in 'em. People found headphones sounded better and didn't take up as much space.
Avatar 3:09pm Richie:

Is this something new? So far, so..awesome!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:12pm Mike Sin:

Hey folks! Roll with me!
Avatar 3:14pm Danne D:

Sounding good Mike :)
Avatar 3:15pm Sonny Rickles:

  3:17pm Steve-O:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:21pm Stevel:

Mike Sin. Good afternoon just got better.
Avatar 3:21pm BadGuyZero:

Out and about but listening via phone app. I've got to keep an eye out for some of these records you've played. Keep spinning the great tunes!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:27pm Stevel:

edf: You sure you're not there with Mr. Sin? Its kinda up your alley today.

Avatar 3:35pm Joe B:

John Waite
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:35pm Stevel:

I approve of the demonic pronunciation of my name. Stevil would be a reasonable stage name.
  3:36pm Tom from Detroit:

John wait in babies . Forehead star plZ
  3:37pm Karn Evil 9:

I want stereo egg!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:41pm Skirkie:

Why you don't call your show "The Sin Bin" I'll never know.
  3:42pm common:

Thanks for the moving sidewalks good with beer!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:43pm Stevel:

Stereo Egg plus: Great when you're high and, uh... I forget.

Stereo Egg minus: Can't move when listening to music/Difficult to have sex in.
  3:43pm Koentje:

Girl I wanna be with you on the 99th Floor !
  3:45pm Listener Jumpy in Brooklyn:

Is this supposed to be a low-fi song?
  3:45pm fudge:

Is it me or there some dust on the needle?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:46pm Skirkie:

Do I have to fiddle with my antenna or did you guys just get real quiet?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:46pm G:

I unstreamed and restreamed. There is actually a source sound issue, i think...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:46pm G:

It's real distorted and about 30-40dB lower...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:46pm Stevel:

"She's my low-va!"
  3:46pm fudge:

Good it's not just me. In listening via streaming
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:47pm Glenn L:

Ahh. That's better. Crisis averted.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:47pm G:

New song in French is fine, maybe it was just that last recording...
  3:47pm fudge:

Better for me too
Avatar 3:51pm SpamPrince:

Nice show Mike! Speaking of French-my band Les Sans Culottes just turned 15!
  3:53pm Listener Jumpy in Brooklyn:

Back to normal now.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:53pm Gaylord Fields:

I'm walking down the street listening on my fancy phone going, "John Waite, dammit, John Waite!" Now that I'm home, this show will be a perfect soundtrack for spring cleaning (me) and tax prep (the missus).
Avatar 4:08pm Joe B:

too bad you couldn't make it Mike, was a good one!
  4:10pm Bluesman:

Good God Mike, I gotta start doing your touch ups. My colorist alter ego is "Renaldo!"

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:20pm Mike Sin:

Hey folks -- Thanks so much for commenting and staying tuned in to this mess! I'm having a great time -- I hope you folks are as well!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:23pm Pete from Boston (and NJ):

Thank you, Mike. Good stuff!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:23pm Stevel:

Hey Mike Sin: That Jacco Gardner set last week was amazing production work.
  4:24pm Ajax:

Don't forget Johnathan "Don't Stop Believin'" Cain, who was also in the Babys. When Journey manager Herbie Herbert found out that they were replacing Gregg Rolie with Jonathan Cain, he said "Jonathan Cain? Of the Babys? Jonathan Cain stinks!" Haha. Herbie Herbert rules, the only guy who is maybe cooler is MIKE "DYE IN MY EYE" SIN!!!!
  4:26pm Listener Jumpy in Brooklyn:

I think there's dust on the laser.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:30pm SeanG:

great tune right here

Come to me, Magic Maker of Love!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:40pm Pete from Boston (and NJ):

Here's dye in your eye.
  4:51pm Derek D:

jacco's show at mercury lounge was great. the sound was perfect, he had his own sound guy. band was fantastic and the guitar player had great harmony vocals.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:59pm Pete from Boston (and NJ):

You're killing my plan to go out and get stuff done, Mike. I just want you to know that.
Avatar 5:03pm On the Yazoo:

@Pete.. Yeah, they do it to me most every Saturday afternoon.. good thing it doesn't get dark early anymore. LOL
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:06pm Mike Sin:

Thanks for all the cool comments!
Avatar 5:10pm Danne D:

yay Bell Sound :)
Avatar 5:12pm Dave in PA:

Killer Show!
  5:14pm Derek D:

nice choice, mike!
  5:20pm Listener Jumpy in Brooklyn:

There was no "with."
Avatar 5:21pm EzSezz:

Side-saddle on a horse. Love it!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:29pm Gaylord Fields:

By the way, there was another Oasis: They were an '80s group with Mary Hopkin as singer — Andrew Lloyd Webber's brother was also in the band, for what that's worth. Their songs didn't work for my comp.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:31pm Gaylord Fields:

However, the OTHER Toad the Wet Sprocket did make the cut.
Avatar 5:46pm Danne D:

I look at that picture at the top of the playlist and I'm left to wonder what is on the other side of the sentence "Playboy Club Credit Keyholder may pay in..."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:50pm Cliff:

Presumably it has something to do with persuading Britney Spears-lookalikes to come back to your pad and lounge in your stereo egg while wearing purple pants.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:52pm I X Key!:

Nice to hear this show today
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:52pm fleep:

"... Bunny Bucks."
"... pretty shells they find on the beach."
"... non specific sexual services."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:56pm Gaylord Fields:

"...on Judgment Day, but it entirely will be worth it."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:58pm Gaylord Fields:

Oops, part got cut off: "...the torment of his eternal soul on Judgment Day, but it entirely will be worth it."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:58pm Uncle Michael:

Avatar 5:59pm Danne D:

There is much wisdom as always on this board - great answers :)
