Avatar 9:33am tomB:

I was singing Spoonful's Henry Thomas to "Cosmic Cowboy"
Avatar 9:37am LilyAbigale:

last two weeks, when I was staying at my aunt's house while dealing with my elderly mother, she purchased a new coffee maker which, when beginning to brew made the exact sane sound of the foghorn in Sailor. For a split second, life would become magical. Every cup.
Avatar 9:38am CeeDubbles:

Pobrecito Bob, I 've had the same URI crap for a month, i fear only a heat wave and salt water bathing will kill it! Stay strong and play on!

  10:54am joe p:

thanks for all the NRBQ... have you seen the chapter on tommy ardolino in penn jilettes new book?...
Avatar 10:55am Phelger Nank:

Dear Mr Brainen:

Respecfully, I don't know what kind of radio program you think you're running (or failing to run!), but it's mad whack. I recommend playing songs that people, uh, like, like?! I request a set of American Idol artists, and/or X Factor artists, interspersed with commercials and funny 'shock jock'- or morning zoo'-style banter/stock (e.g., bullhorns, simulated body gas, etc.)

Thank you.

Yours in 'music',

@PN: Yeah, it's pretty great, isn't it?
  9:22pm Eugene Bentley:

Hey Bob!
Love the Steve Miller band 'Song For Our Ancestors' and Beatles 'Yes It Is' (highly underated B-side. Great Philly Soul from Thom Bell and the Delfonics (sometimes I wished they spelled their name the way you did).
  9:36pm Eugene Bentley:

There is a fairly decent single disc compilation of Steve Miller Bands selection from The Joker and prior "the Best of 1968-1973"-- nothing from his mega popularity in the late 70s and early 80s. That's how I got my first listen of Songs For Our Ancestors. There is also "Anthology". But as usually happens with these comps there is a few tracks left off that should have been on there.
