Cubs can be as heartbreaking as the Sox I imagine. Good thing is the Sox are coming to play the Rangers in a few weeks so I get to spend a Sunday afternoon at the park watching them for the first time in over a decade.
Well, it's silly to get my heart broken. My head knows all about low expectations. The heart is in every game for a W. It's stupid. We'll lose 95 this year. I should be happy with some player development and a good draft...but I can't help myself. Still...in Theo we trust. I've never been to Fenway...not even during the 20 years my brother was in Boston.
Yeah, I'll be happy with just some progress over last year. Dad used to take me to Fenway once a month or so when you could buy decent tickets to a weekday game for $20. But I haven't lived in NE since '98. This is my first chance to catch a game since then, even if it is an away game.
I got the triple threat...music, cars, and sports. I really only follow my home teams though. That's just a result of growing up in the Boston suburb of Rhode Island.
I like cars because I can listen to music WHILE driving and wrenching. I love Top Gear, the original. But I stick to stuff that's way older than me. I'm nursing a severe sunburn from spending last Saturday at a huge pre-1964-only hot rod show in Austin.
@Yazoo It seems every UK Top Gear fan I've spoken to hates the US version as much as I do. Who actually watches that show? Every preview I see for it is just redos of things the UK guys already did.

I remember stacks of 45s like these in pawnshops around here. They'd been played and shuffled so much they were unplayable.
