Afternoon, Fools! Sorry I'm late...I had to finish watching Argo, which did NOT star Norman "Chubby" Chaney, though it totally should have.
  1:12pm EV_Grrrl:

Gonna clean up our Hoboken Hideaway while listening to your show!

Simmering up some homemade pasta sauce here in Waco.

I actually found Houston to be interesting, they have no zoning laws which allows for some random layouts and mixed uses in neighborhoods. Good art museums, which provide some rad green space in the residential areas they plunked them down in, and people use them!

Houston: Come for the BBQ, stay for the zoning laws!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:24pm Greg from Bloomfield:

Really good! Kinda structured like a heist movie. Though if I had made it it would've just been John Goodman and Alan Arkin cracking wise for two hours...

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:28pm Greg from Bloomfield:

Oh! OH! And I just saw A Face In The Crowd for the first time and I rewound the "Rednecks, hillbillies, pea pickers" part like three times. Instantly one of my favorite movies ever.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:28pm Chris in TX via RI:

Alan Arkin circa Catch-22 is the best. Then again I'm biased since it's my favorite book.
Avatar 1:29pm Tony in Durham NC:

I'm in the mood for Thunder Road, starring Robert Mitchum.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:29pm Greg from Bloomfield:

I like to imagine that Alan Arkin left the office in Glengarry Glen Ross to go home to the Edward Scissorhands family.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:43pm Mike East:

@Chris in TX - weren't we just talking about Catch22? Yes, Alan Arkin was great, as he almost always is.

Had a great Record Store Day at Jack's in Red Bank. Rex, it's no Allentown.
Avatar 1:47pm spoony:

Hey Ben Affleck, can you act unflappable? Yes? Ok, we're going to need you to do that for the entire movie.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:48pm Chris in TX via RI:

@Mike - I think we were the other night, actually.
Avatar 2:16pm ken in denver:

Have a safe and sane Record Store Day. Let's not have any PVC overdoses.
Avatar 2:17pm ken in denver:

I don't need Record Store Day. I get high from Fool's Paradise With Rex!

Some Good Guys name I haven't heard in a long while. I won a Good Guys sweatshirt on one of their endless call-in contests.

Totally forgot it's Record Store Day. Luckily the Central NJ Record Show is going down in Edison tomorrow...
