Ladies and gentlemen, the return of Toothpick Rhythm...
Avatar 7:04pm
Danne D:

YAY :) Any sportsy talk? :) Did you see the NASCAR race at Talladega this weekend?
  7:04pm
Robert:

No more salutin' Putin?
Avatar 7:04pm
Carmichael:

If I had a beer, I'd be crying in it.
Avatar 7:04pm
Danne D:

I wonder which county the "County Music" will be from. Maybe Passaic County?
Avatar 7:04pm
Dan B From Upstate:

Truck Tank?
Avatar 7:05pm
Danne D:

Drunk Tank :)

Kat in Chicago:

On my way out of the office but saying a quick hi before I go! I'll be listening on my phone though.
  7:06pm
Robert:

In all his photos at any age, he always looks great. Putin could be photographed holding a bloody cleaver over over a dead human body and he'd still look great, hence his Action Comics.
  7:06pm
Trent:

Great to hear you again, Bronwyn!
Avatar 7:06pm
Carmichael:

He has an action figure, too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:07pm
G:

what show on the station is not actually specialty music? inquiring minds...
  7:08pm
Sean:

Hugely delighted you are back. News of the dead by any chance? Love to hear your acerbic comments.
Avatar 7:10pm
Danne D:

@G the 3 hours shows have a lot more variety than it appears at first glance, really
Avatar 7:10pm
Danne D:

Bronwyn was too Speedy in typing Speedy West :)
  7:12pm
Kathy:

I feel very sad and lonely, yet I am smiling ear to ear
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:14pm
G:

I see! "specialty" is a term in freeform meaning strictly single-genre
  7:16pm
Ralphine:

I like Webb Pierce. Got any Ferlin Husky?
Avatar 7:16pm
Danne D:

@G - Think of how A440 and Downtown Soulville are more narrowly focused :)
Avatar 7:16pm
Carmichael:

From Webb Pierce to singing monks. That's radio huevos, Bronwyn.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:18pm
G:

that's what i was saying. and those are one-hour only, to avoid 2-3 hours of just one genre. got it.
Avatar 7:18pm
Danne D:

One plus with News of the Dead - always a fresh supply of material.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:19pm
G:

people are dying to be discussed
  7:19pm
Sean:

What schtick beats News of the Dead?
It's brilliant.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:20pm
Caryn:

@Danne: and Sinner's Crossroads & the Antique Phonograph show.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:22pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

News of people back from the dead would probably be cool but there aren't many people who would meet the requirements.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:24pm
G:

Given the deficit, the IRS is certainly likely to be just as aggressive as B. suggest
Avatar 7:24pm
Jeff:

Because bacon.
Avatar 7:24pm
Danne D:

Is Pearl Cantrell related to Laura Cantrell?
Avatar 7:29pm
Danne D:

I have to head out :)
Thanks for great tunes Bronwyn :)
Have a good one folks :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:32pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

Can you play a couple of these backwards? Then we can hear about the guy getting his wife back, his dog back, tractor back, etc.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:34pm
G:

@DD: Both Texas (Pearl's home) and TN (Laura C's) were settled directly or indirectly from Virgnia, so there *may* be a very distant link there, back in the 18th century, as long as both Cantrells were born in the state their ancestors had been in (and Cantrell may be Pearl's name by marriage, not genes???). -- It would take huge possibly research to pin it down.
  7:35pm
Sean:

Oh dear, this genre does lend itself to the melancholic. I do hope they aren't impelled by a personal situation. Why not throw in Porter Wagoner "Misery Loves Company".
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:38pm
G:

Talk aboucher misry, mah porch done falled in n flat kilt three o' mah faveritt yeller dawgs
  7:45pm
Dave Soldier:

Bronwyn, how about playing some more Ray Price? He had the best bar band in history. With George gone, he (and Merle, hard to know where to drawn the line) are the last of the breed, and Ray was Hank William's roommate! Who do you think did the dishes?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:46pm
Hank:

Hey, I did some dishes.
