& what DCP said (@3:33) -- I practically spent my entire childhood with my hand-me-down shortwave pressed to my ear all night, digging the numbers stations. Very trippy stuff when you're 6-ish years old.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:36pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...they've explained Numbers Stations to me on the CommentsBoards here
- Googled it - & they speak of one that is a little girl's voice:

thats so cool! i gotta get a shortwave radio, or build one. there is actually a really intense oldschool seller of tubes and radio equipment right by me in williamsburg bk. ive been there a few times, the guy who runs it is grumpy but endearing.

Fab, my wife keeps thinking she sees you around Red Hook Brooklyn. She's like, "There he is again!" I'm like, "How do you know." She sez "No on else looks like that." So what's the deal? You hangin' in the hook, or is she losing her mind?

@steve--you bet it's cool, when I found out about this I sat glued to my radio..mildly freaked out all night.
