Playing at FIAF Florence Gould Hall 55 East 59th St, Wednesday May 22, 8 pm (part of the World Nomads Tunisia festival). She wrote this song while a student at the Université de Tunis in 2005. Though now living in Paris, her concert in Sfax, Tunisia was considered influential in the Tunisian revolution of early 2011 that kicked off the Arab Spring (she dedicated the concert to the revolutionary cause).
