Hey Jeffrey,

we always stay tuned after the zzzzero Hour and like your show also very much. We discover always a lot of new "slow" sounds on your programm, while doing a slow saturday morning here in germany.

hey jeffrey, tuning in from China (your show also fits well with rainy Saturday evenings)

Good morning Jeffrey and listeners
I just checked: the first two CocoRosie records were on Touch and Go.

G'morning all. A little late today...I really needed that extra shuteye. Glad I made it for William Tyler!

not to send everybody rushing there, but it looks like there's a Behold the Spirit limited edition vinyl LP for 10.50USD on the internet...though this internet shopping thing is still new to me

...Maybe I'm wrong but - haven't the Stones been pretty good w/ crediting the classic Bluesmen? - always dedicated BluesBoosters - & a long time before it was trendy or P.C. ?
- tho', allowing Mr. Taylor his point. The Interview has been very interesting & insightful!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:42am
Mike East:

has he mentioned what type of guitar he's playing?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:45am
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...fingerpicking a 12-string like that is a real workout for the hands...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:46am
Jeffrey Davison:

No mention of the guitars. I will try to find out and add to playlist. And yes, the Stones did always honor the blues musicians. I think Tyler is just stating a preference and going to the sources, as earlier musicians have done.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:50am
Mike East:

...and as the Stones, themselves, did, in a way
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:50am
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- Yeah - commonly the Stones (& the like) are a Gateway & you want to learn what's behind it (Americans learning Blues & Guitar from BrtiRockers).
...His sound is so good & rich & a bit atypical one naturally wants some technical intel - type of guitar (electric 12-string last week), if he's using picks 'n' stuff...

Anyway, I'll jump in straight from Irene's show...both archive catch ups. Nothing better to start the work week than back to back Irene / Jeffrey presentations!
