I'm wondering if you have seen The Asphyx, and if so what you think. It entertains the concept that you can capture a sort of non-soul at the point of death, and if you do, the person whose nonsoul is trapped in an ornate golden scientist geezer contraption, can live forever.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:17am
Listener Howard in Portland:

Just recently saw 'The Asphyx' (thanks, streaming netflix!) and really enjoyed it.
Avatar 2:21am
Wm.:

Saw The Asphyx a few months ago for the first time; an interesting premise, not super-duper entertaining, for me anyway. I like those old British horror films, but Asphyx had a dryness to it, that paled in comparison to some of my favorite Hammer films. S'ok. Much preferred These Are The Damned, but it's apples & oranges....
Avatar 2:22am

I did like the special effects, great for the time, and I was having a good laugh thinking about getting an "ass-fix."
