There's some sort of International Cassette Day in the works. Sort of like Record Store Day. But with cassettes.
Avatar 1:06am BadGuyZero:

I would save cool looking photos from magazines to use for mixtape covers.
  1:06am KP:

Somebody was talking about. Was it you? I thought it was a joke and a pretty funny one.
Avatar 1:07am BadGuyZero:

Someone needs a lozenge.
Avatar 1:07am BadGuyZero:

  1:09am KP:

Only mix tapes i ever made were mostly the Pogues, Mary Black and other dreary Irish stuff. Somehow it had the desired effect and Ireland became a big part of our lives. Sniff, sniff.
Avatar 1:09am BadGuyZero:

Steve Miller the Space Cowboy??? Some people call him Maurice.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:10am Ken From Hyde Park:

Beach fever - catch it!
  1:11am KP:

There was at least one cassette in recent record store thing, I think.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:15am Tome:

bit.ly... these still the best from back in the day,,,maybe they didn't really work on the cough etc.. but they were soft and chewy and not those wicked mentholated ones,, and I never even knew they had sunower oil...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:20am Therese:

Swag For Life Member 1:54am Lonely Planet Boy:

Avatar 1:57am Hoboken Jack:

Ah OK. Saw him on my birthday and, by set's end, pants were off. Cookies, hmmm, there is that place in Manhattan that sells cookies late at night. If I got on the train right NOW....

Avatar 2:09am BadGuyZero:

@KP: They're touring the US; performing the full "Warrior On The Edge Of Time" album during their set.
Avatar 2:14am KP:

Are they arena level, or somewhat lower. Keep in mind Guns and Roses just played a bowling alley here.
Avatar 2:15am BadGuyZero:

Does hearing this Bobby Whitlock song count as going to church?

@KP: Hawkwind is playing a 800 seater in Dallas.

TRIVIA: I recently read that the guy that sings on those ads used to be the singer for the band Survivor. He's the one that sang "Eye of the Tiger."
