Avatar 12:06am BadGuyZero:

Whew...you had me worried. I did an internet search to make sure Mary Tyler Moore hadn't passed away unbeknownst to me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:07am Tome:

Hi Therese, Hi Kiddles ! nice start and I love this Smiths tune too !
Avatar 12:07am KP:

Hey Therese, just got in off trail back from N.Va.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:08am Therese:

OMG, no! MTM is fine, BGZ.
Avatar 12:11am KP:

Happy three hours!
  12:12am Steve=O:

Hey Therese! How are ya tonight? =)
Avatar 12:15am BadGuyZero:

This set contains the 2014 Lollapalooza headliners, right? :D
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:17am Stevel:

BadGuyZero: You're not the only one jumpy about mortality. When the Glenn Jones show started with American Pie today, I was sure someone was dead. It was, of course, the beginning of a tribute to the end of Maxwell's.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:17am Ken From Hyde Park:

I remember hearing this Split Enz tune in college.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:18am Therese:

Yup, I'm feeling a bit nostalgic tonight.
Avatar 12:20am BadGuyZero:

In the early 80s when Nickelodeon was only on for 12 hours a day they frequently aired a Split Enz concert on the weekends. The first time I ever saw The Bongos was on a Fred Newman-hosted talk show that was on Nickelodeon back then.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:25am sugarwolf:

I'm just going to have to favorite every song tonight, aren't I?
Avatar 12:27am BadGuyZero:

@sugarwolf: It's never a bad idea.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:29am Tome:

..happy happy and peppy and bursting with love ... !
  12:29am KP:

American Pie? It was promised on the FMU site that if you left your dial right here you'd never have to hear that one again.
  12:33am Steve-O:

Yeah, I graduated five years ago myself......but I don't think I was ever invited to any events. (But then again, I rarely ever check my Facebook anymore, so yeah.....=O)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:35am Tome:

think it was '86 for me first time at Maxwell's - the Replacements .. boohoo . :(
  12:36am Steve-O:

@Tome: Yeah, sad to see 'em go. I definitely enjoyed Hackamore Brick, though. Can you believe they've been around since the '60s? (No joke, man.)
Avatar 12:37am BadGuyZero:

Apparently my 25-year high school was last night. A former classmate sent me a message yesterday afternoon asking if I was going. It was the first I had heard of it. I probably still wouldn't have gone if I'd known about it ahead of time.
  12:38am Steve-O:

@BGZ: Guess it must've been pretty sucky for ya, huh? =(
  12:39am KP:

Maxwells was kind of haul from LI and only made there once. But did see the Feelies
  12:39am Chris:

First time I'm hearing Therese's show (it's a Canadian holiday and I can be up this late). I love this. It's a ten. A ten, I say! Good stuff!!!
Avatar 12:40am Droll:

BGZ, Ha! I just got an invite to my 25th HS reunion. There was a 10 year, a 20 year, now a 25 year reunion... Next there will be a 27 year reunion, and soon we're all back to seeing each other every day and sharing lockers.
  12:41am KP:

It's a HS reunion every weekend for me. Or was. One of reasons I was persuaded to abandon the island
  12:41am Steve-O:

@Chris: Are you in Eastern Canada, btw? =)
Avatar 12:44am BadGuyZero:

@Droll: Five years ago I received info about a 20-year reunion that wasn't mine (it was for a high school in California). Person had the same name and birthdate. I was tempted to go.

@Steve-O: I wouldn't say that high school was sucky for me. It's more that I haven't had moments where I wondered what any of my classmates are like 25 years later. I didn't have much in common with them back then; I doubt that much has changed in the past 25 years.
  12:45am Steve-O:

@BGZ: Alright, cool. Yeah, my own HS years weren't too bad, either, although it seems there were plenty of missed opprotunities.....ah well, at least I can remember the good times, though. =)
Avatar 12:47am Hoboken Jack:

Happy Civic/Provincial Day, Chris!
I had a role in planning my 5, 10, 20, and 25-yr HS reunions. because I am a sucker.
Avatar 12:51am BadGuyZero:

@Steve-O: The highlights of my high school years are pretty much all shows I went to: Replacements, Love & Rockets, Ramones, Echo & The Bunnymen, The Godfathers, Dead Milkmen and a bunch of local bands. I'm still friends with a bunch of people I met at shows back then.
  12:52am KP:

Chris, I was just thinking first time I heard Therese was on a drive like I took tonight up coast. I had heard of her but not tuned in previously. Was kind of stunned.
Avatar 12:53am BadGuyZero:

I wish I knew what kind of tank these Danzigs are in so I could figure out how many Danzigs are in it.
Avatar 12:57am Hoboken Jack:

I tried to get one more Danzig in there, but it just missed-fitting.
Avatar 1:02am BadGuyZero:

You just made a Lustmord mini-tune!
Avatar 1:07am BadGuyZero:

Boogietude! #BrotherJT
  1:09am Steve-O:

Lulz, man. Pants.

@BGZ: The Ramones are effing awesome, dude. =)
Avatar 1:11am BadGuyZero:

Drop Dead Fred is in there with you, Therese?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:13am Therese:

You can see him too?!
Avatar 1:18am BadGuyZero:

I'm going to go look in a mirror and say "amEdeo amEdeo amEdeo" and see if anything happens.

Midnite Vultures is the best Prince album of the past fifteen years!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:31am Julie:

isn't it a murder of crows
Avatar 1:31am BadGuyZero:

Umm...I think I may need help. I don't know where I am now. I think I'm in the Black Lodge.
  1:38am KP:

Not that long ago I worked on west side of manhattan and drove in. I would come in as much as two hours early just to sit in car and listen to WFMU along the river.
  1:58am KP:

Was there a rock guy by name Michael Hurley who played in city a lot.
  2:07am Steve-O:

@Julie: I dunno.....I always thought "conspiracy" fit the description a flock of crows even better. LOL. =p
Avatar 2:16am BadGuyZero:

The Big Star documentary is currently available for streaming rental on Amazon Instant Video. So is the documentary about Death.
Avatar 2:19am Droll:

Amedeo should get a mic... Or his own show.
  2:21am KP:

Therese if you see the Big Star one take notes and then explain the relationships between all the characters for us.
  2:22am KP:

Droll. We have to make that happen.
  2:34am KP:

New Cronin is too good for these times.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:45am davex:

Hi Therese, checking in late, but the list looks like a lot of fun...
Avatar 2:45am Negative Eclipse:

  2:47am KP:

Here's the new Boss!
Avatar 2:47am BadGuyZero:

My dad still thinks Bruce Springsteen was on General Hospital and Rick Springfield is "The Boss."
Avatar 2:49am BadGuyZero:

Frankie Goes To Hollywood covered "Born To Run" on "Welcome To The Pleasuredome."
Avatar 2:51am Dave L.B. is RRN63:

...so glad I woke up for this!...
Avatar 2:54am BadGuyZero:

Sometimes asparagus is better.
Avatar 2:55am BadGuyZero:

Ritchie was a drummer.
Avatar 2:56am Dave L.B. is RRN63:

..Johnny & Joey hated each other - & then they all die @ the same time...it's like a reverse SpinalTap that only the drummers survived...or keyboard in the Dead...
Avatar 2:56am BadGuyZero:

The party starts now!
  2:57am KP:

I saw Bruce Springsteen open for Anne Murray. Pre everything horrible.
  2:58am KP:

No the keyboardists were first to go
Avatar 2:59am Dave L.B. is RRN63:

...that's what I mean...
Avatar 3:00am Dave L.B. is RRN63:

- don't take that job...
Avatar 3:01am BadGuyZero:

I enjoyed SATC the TV show. I saw the first movie...HATED it. Didn't bother with the second one.

Wasn't Kim Cattrall in one of the Star Trek movies?
Avatar 3:01am BadGuyZero:

Now James Spader specializes in portraying sexual deviants.
Avatar 3:02am Dave L.B. is RRN63:

...I'd watch Kim Cattrall do anything - ask my Secretary...
Avatar 3:03am Dave L.B. is RRN63:

...don't take that job either...
