I forgot I had left Sue's show running when I muted my computer. I then unmuted it to play "Amplifier" by the Db's while "Employment Vows" was playing. The combination was exquisite.

Dangit! Now I have to go out and buy a bunch of stuff I didn't know existed thirty minutes ago. Sincerely, thank you Sue P.!

The Toiling Midgets, Live at the Old Waldorf, San Francisco 7/21/82 -- that's a show I could have been at. No money, back then. Got to see Flipper because I won a radio contest.
Avatar 2:18am
Sue P.:

wow, Flipper live in 1982? That had to be incredible.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:31am
pacific standard simon:

It was kinda perfunctory, really. "Hi, sorry Flipper couldn't be here tonight..." and standard drone. The opening bands, Animal Things and B-Team were more interesting. And I saw someone much cooler than me wearing a Husker Du t-shirt, which I didn't know anything about. The funny thing is, I ended up working a day job with Will Shatter 4 years later.

ha! love it.

Anyway, I like the show, and if I can, I'll tune in again. I'm more of a "Give The Drummer..." listener. Because:Life.
