Avatar 4:32am

i think that was right around the time Gorgoroth was using animal blood and crucifying people on stage but before Gaahl electro-tortured a guy's private parts in his home.

Asking my fellow to explain the gazillionth time difference between black metal and death metal and he got as far as "Quorthon" before I burst into laughter.
Avatar 4:34am
Chris M.:

@Eyepatch Fox: they're musically completely different but basically one is about satan and the other is about zombies.
  4:34am
KP:

You went to this! I missed that part. I do remember Beastie Boys playing Giants Stadium but that's it. Sorry to say not a fan except for Cookie Puss, which takes me back to New Afternoon Show, WNYU.

I saw Elliot Smith at a Tower Records in-store. I saw him walk out from the back, then he sat down and it was too crowded to actually see him play. He played 20 minutes, then I saw him as he left. Eventually, he died.
Avatar 4:40am
Eyepatch Fox:

Eventually, so do we all.

Avatar 5:09am
Chris M.:

sorry i won't have time to get to Sargeist this show because i'm playing In Da Club
Avatar 5:11am
Congolia:

Not sure. Most of the hum goes away when I touch strings. but I get a crackling sound when I rub my hand across strings
Avatar 5:14am
Chris M.:

@Congolia: well, you're going to have more hum from p90s but hum can also come from nearby electronic things. some people say shielding the inside of the body helps. not sure what the crackling is but have you tried other electrical outlets for your amp?
Avatar 5:16am
Congolia:

I have not. Good idea. Thanks
