	12:49pm Eli: @Cecile, there are some great lower priced fun options these days like the Moog Minitaur (huge bass, but a module, you'd need a controller) and the Arturia Minibrute. I'm a longtime synth snob and have some of the big boys, but I LOVE my minibrute. Extremely hands on and creative. Might be complex at first, but you'll have hours of fun using it and it can make huge bass...

	12:53pm steve: Mike - Doug has his own thing now but stops by occasionally. my understanding is he just repairs amps, PAs, other things we're not too excited about... the Analog Lab pretty much just does vintage synths, effects, etc. now - the good stuff. pretty amazing place to hang out.

I'm a longtime synth snob and have some of the big boys, but I LOVE my minibrute. Extremely hands on and creative. Might be complex at first, but you'll have hours of fun using it and it can make huge bass...
