Well nothing like a bit of bombast to beat back the clouds
  3:18am
Tomek from Warsaw:

Andy: all clouds are gone in Warsaw. But it's freezing.
Avatar 3:22am
Bill Mac:

Or the total darkness, depending on your time zone. We're in the middle of a warm spell here. 27 degrees celsius today and tomorrow.
Avatar 3:26am
mauri:

10C and some sun here. I think I go ride my bike and/or run in the forest later.
Avatar 3:27am
Andy in Berlin:

@ Bill - I heard it's warm in NY, very jealous.
@ Tomak - I feel your pain. Literally. It's pretty chilly over here.
Avatar 3:32am
Bill Mac:

@Andy - Even though people are ready for fall it's nice to have one more weekend of warm weather. It'll cool off here before you know it.
Avatar 3:43am

@ Bill - my Schadenfreude thanks you :)

I didn't know about the Gary Lucas appearance! Thanks for mentioning it. He puts on a great show -which I have to say I discovered by winning some tickets from WFMU to see him at Fez years ago.

Recently saw the movie 2001 with a huge orchestra and chorus providing soundtrack. Saw Superchunk. Lousy play tonight. Beethoven's Ninth last night.
Avatar 4:10am
Bill Mac:

Glad to hear it. Yeah, we got a rash of shows through the month to see. Goblin this week, Hawkwind next, Godspeed sometime the following week. Five or six shows before the end of the month.

I think i will see Hawkwind. They are playing very close to where we live.
Avatar 4:12am
Bill Mac:

I'm not much for plays anymore. Most of the music just reminds me of every other show featuring tin pan alley sounding tunes..... and they say rock music all sounds the same.
Avatar 4:13am
KP:

I have exact same feeling about plays. Cant really talk about it though, even here.
