hey good evening, steve!
  8:08pm Steve Krinsky:

Hola all!
  8:16pm sweet cheri:

it looks like i'm the only one here listening.
  8:17pm Scott Briggs:

No, I'm here too Cheri. I had to tear myself away from some Thel. Monk though to come back here! Toss-up....I like Monk but this sounded more intriguing. Such a boring night as it was...
  8:18pm art:

No, not the only one. Silently grooving.
Avatar 8:19pm davex:

Yes, the silent masses are just tuning in and kicking back...
  8:21pm Scott Briggs:

Oof, I heard Joan Jett's 80s drummer passed away today, from MS complications. Suckage.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:25pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...yeah, enjoying the good choices for dubby ska groooves.
- Condolences to that fellow's fans & people.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:25pm Mike East:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:33pm Mike East:

great piano player, too.
Avatar 8:44pm tomB:

Steve, I forgot you were doing the show tonight, but turned on the radio just in time to hear "Cuban Sandwich" How's that for Kismet?
PS: 1st time I understood any of the words besides the recipe.
Avatar 8:47pm tomB:

Do you have anything by Austin's Belleville Outfit?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:51pm Mike East:

I believe the Mamadou Kelly set from Lincoln Center was recently run on Rob's show. Him, Brian Turner, and Irene Trudel played different excerpts from that summer concert. Great stuff
  8:53pm Steve Krinsky:

Hey, sorry I can't jump in. Busy right now. I'll check the stuff later; email me if you want to be in touch: stevek@wfmu.org. Hope to be back soon.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:55pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

  8:57pm Scott Briggs:

man, must found Mike Lupica's pages (or someone's) on the late great Pier Platters in Hoboken! by accident. I only was there a few times but it was a great shop.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:58pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:
