- I saw him w/ a local pick-up band, & he shamed the drummer by telling him to sit out, & playing amazing percussion just clacking the keys of his sax! - there was that much Music in him. Just a few years later I saw him, he was terminally ill & somewhat diminished, but still determinedly out playing - then soon after died.![]()
