I wonder if some variation of the Searchers still tours

I Had an Excellent Dream that I heard the Dentists on Therese's show
Avatar 1:34am
tomB:

Actually I saw The Searchers a few years back at the old Cutting Room. John McNally? and Frank, the guy who took Tony Jackson's place (& has thus been a member longer than any of the missing originals). Filling out the line up was the guy from the group White Plains and unfortunately they felt compelled to sing that awful "Beach Baby" song
  1:38am
KP:

How were they? Apparently some form of many of the British hit groups still tour. The Hollies, there's the Manfreds ..,
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:43am

Where's that sniffle button?
Avatar 1:48am
BadKrampusZero:

YES! I listened to this whole record earlier today. So many great songs on that first Cheap Trick record.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:50am
pacific standard simon:

Well, needless to say, I suppose, this sounded like a different song by another band when it first began.
Avatar 1:51am
BadKrampusZero:

I wish Cheap Trick would re-record this album and "Heaven Tonight" with Steve Albini like they did "In Color."
  1:55am
petit cochon:

Who's playing the fart?
Avatar 1:59am
tomB:

@KP: I'd go again, but I think my expectations were too high. I enjoyed Joey Molland's Badfinger much more. I hope to catch the Manfreds, especially if Paul Jones is onboard. As long as Tony Hicks is in the Hollies, I'd go; I'm assuming it's his nasal harmony that works the magic for me--I don't need Nash.

I think it's in the rules that you have to mention your cold on the air, otherwise people will think you're snorting lines off the back of your hand.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:01am

Joey Molland should tour with Todd Rundgren as New Badfinger.
