Hi!

I was to take a shower and had to leave the bathroom to check what' was on and to turn volume up. Great Lula (was thinking of a Hermeto Pascoal ancestor/descendant).

Now I can take that water in a lovely sunny morning here in Seville.

Thanx JH and night/morning to all!

@goldenrope: I haven't heard of any (new) protests lately. Well, it is all a bit of protest and a lot of anger but, in a way, in a Latin style. Hard to explain it in 4 words. As for the cops IMHO ACAB. In a fight I prefer both positions clear. ;-)

This is becoming a slippery slope
Avatar 4:15am

The protesters were in a really violent protest against police against the new anti-protest law. Japan just passed the same law to hide the truth of Fukashima and they are protesting too, though less violent than Spain.

Thanx again. Now WFMU is informing me (who used to run a blog about the uprisings) about Spain! Love WFMU! I'll give it a look.

Nor economically nor socially life is not that bad here (yet). We're still Europe and we're still the protected rich kids. Politicians are a bunch of corrupts, I guess over other countries levels and, probably worst, not ashamed of it and publically showing it off!

Last stage is re-writting the Law against most social rights (for the ones who have less) = you have to pay for your rights. A trip back a century via the Franco fascist regime.

F****!!! Woke up so happy and today have a date with my new pretty girlfriend on a sunny Sunday and look at me...

Back to orange juice, toast, homemade cake, relaxing tea breakfast!

Great music for it! :-)

Thanx and sorry for the drag!

@Simon P, that seems to be the cabals new desperate plan- criminalize protest and reporting.
"Thousands of people have held a demonstration in Japan’s capital, Tokyo, to denounce the adoption of a controversial state-secrets law which toughens penalties for whistleblowers and journalists."

In Spain this yea'rs National Budget was cut in all subjects but in police and military forces. They're definitely worried.

Look at Greece, Turkey, Portugal, Ukrania, Italy, the whole North African World, Malaysia, Chile,... just to name a few. I'm waiting for Brazil's World Cup and Olympics. I think I'm gonna follow that games. ;-)

I'm getting the impression that the Mandela funeral is providing a nice smokescreen for some nasty stuff
Avatar 5:34am
hip:

Too many smokescreens. We have at least one distracting news every month. No need no Mandela, nor nuclear leak. This is not new. It's been talked lately than all this shit comes from some 30 years ago. In Spain we know there was no such a dictatorship end when Franco died, but a change of decoration. They, altogether with their international mates, keep on working to keep their privileges.

I didn't want to think of it as a class war (too lefty I thought). But now I'm sure it is.
