I have a long lost friend who had an incredible collection -- LPs, 45s, 78s -- of seemingly everything pop that found its way to vinyl release in East Asia from the end of the war to, say, 1977. Oh for a walk in his basement. But just sitting there in his place from time to time drinking and listening to music is a very fond memory. Trying to recreate some of that here.
