... as I say, if they had parted ways early enough, it would have been better. The most destructive elements were malcom and Sid. have you seen the later film by Julian temple. It tells it all ...

The Who's destructive image was also manager-driven and they weren't really happy with it and parted ways in the end. Jimi from the very beginning was unhappy with the "show-aspects" he was driven to by the same management.
