Hola y'all!
  9:03am Paul'sActuallyJustSleeping:

Hey, Bob! Love the show! I request something from The Beach Boys' Surf's Up, or Razzmatazz by John Travolta.
  9:04am LovecraftDude888:

hey Bob...mornin. Actually just making More Coffee...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:04am Mike East:

So what you're saying is that I need to buy this Juana Molina record, right, Bob?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:09am Wendy del Formaggio:

Good morning, everybody! Happy February!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:17am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Hullo Wendy my fellow Vt-NHite ! Good to see you.
...I gotta go be late for work...man I'll bet that's good cheese !...
  9:18am LovecraftDude888:

work work..oh sorry RR! have fun.....at least your gig sounds cool wish I had a fun job as such.... wow jr. walker alright
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:19am Wendy del Formaggio:

Hey glenn, thanks! But the silly people didn't provide the actual town/province/country where their store is located, just a street address. That said, I've been interested in Canadian artisan-made cheese for many years. There's no good supply chain getting them south of the border, though. waah.
  9:19am Jr.:

Shotgun?
Avatar 9:20am glenn:

well, it's in toronto, just around the corner from me.
  9:21am LovecraftDude888:

yer Brattleboro shop looks keen too...I was told to cut down on real cheese though...Diabetic etc. oof.
  9:22am Jim Duffy:

You could do a set of tunes that are called "Road Runner" -- Junior Walker, Bo Diddley, Jonathan Richman...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:22am Wendy del Formaggio:

glenn, oh nice! it's good to have those things in one's neighborhood.
  9:23am LovecraftDude888:

i cannot believe Brattleboro didn't have a dedicated cheese shop/cafe. That is astounding. I like Cabot ok....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:23am ChrisB.:

That Blood on the Saddle track was welcome. Saw them at the Court Tavern in New Brunswick.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:24am Wendy del Formaggio:

LovecraftDude, thanks! But it is no more. I closed my shop last month. Waah. Wait, I'm no doctor, but I don't understand why a diabetic needs to cut down on cheese. There's nothing in it to mess with one's insulin. In fact, it's a good source of protein and no carbohydrates!
  9:25am LovecraftDude888:

Type 2...just carbs..oh has no carbs..ok. well, was told to cut down on cholesterol and fats etc. as well. Sorry you had to shut down that sucks.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:26am Wendy del Formaggio:

LovecraftDude, you know Brattleboro? I'm always surprised when someone does. We're such a wee town. A nice town, but a tiny one. Anyway, yeah, health stuff can be so confusing. Sorry you are illin'. And thanks for that. Yes, it does suck I had to close, but I'll do it again in some other town, where the economy is better, and when I have more start-up/floating capital. Meanwhile, I look for a job...
  9:27am LovecraftDude888:

I eat a lot of that vegan cheese stuff but MD sez watch out for that too...egads. and it's not the same
  9:28am LovecraftDude888:

I know of Brattleboro...I've been to other places in Vermont over the years, and N.H.....mainly I know RI Providence, and Salem and Marblehead MA. etc. I had friends in Nashua for years but they later relocated to New Mexico. Is Cabot any good? I guess it's more like mass production.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:28am Wendy del Formaggio:

LD88, vegan cheese is an abomination. You'd do better to eat very small amounts of very good cheese than you would do messin' with that fake shit. It's so overly processed.
  9:29am LovecraftDude888:

I have good pals in RI and Smithfield and the economy is always like, shaky there, for years and years....my friend was laid off his accounting job for 3 yrs until last year....bad news and he's near Providence
  9:29am LovecraftDude888:

umm...yeah processed is bad. I know that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:30am Wendy del Formaggio:

LD88, Cabot is great. It's made in larger quantities than, say, Jasper Hill, but it's a dairy cooperative, it's a small facility, they support New England dairies, and their cheese -- even their supermarket cheese -- is very nice and priced in reach of most people. I always have a few 8-oz bricks of it in my fridge!
Avatar 9:30am Bob Brainen:

Ha! Mebbe so, Mike East. Good stuff. Mornin' JJ, PsAJC & LCD.
BB
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:31am Wendy del Formaggio:

LD88, sorry. I just get my cheesemonger undies in a knot when I read someone has to eat vegan cheese. It makes me sad. :-(
I meant no offense. You gotta take care of yourself, right?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:31am Wendy del Formaggio:

Anyway, I feel like we're hijacking the page. Email?
  9:32am LovecraftDude888:

yeah Cabot always seems solid enough and quality at least. I buy it from time to time. Just gotta eat smaller amounts per meal I guess. Anyhoo.....good luck restarting der biz, a small biz is not easy. I'm in Port Washington LI they can't even float a record shop here anymore. nothing. Nah it's ok the Vegan is processed....trying to cut down on that too.
  9:32am LovecraftDude888:

Wendy...it's ok...good chatting..back to regular programming!
  9:33am LovecraftDude888:

I was admonished for over yakking last night...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:33am Wendy del Formaggio:

Likewise! Take care, LD88. :-)

Excellent show this morning, BobB !
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:23pm GenoB:

Hey Bob, I'm enjoying your show-I just got that Beatles BBC 2 cd and especially intrigued by that bit with 'I Feel Fine'. Loved the Steeleye Span (no drums?) and Innocence Mission as well Jon Brion.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:47pm GenoB:

I forgot about Square Pegs TV show and the Waitresses doing the theme. The show has Sarah Jessica Parker playing the central character and Tracy Nelson (Ricky's daughter) playing the part as an airhead valley girl.
