The Port Authority is the worst.
  10:27pm
P-90:

pss: now wait a sec -- you say "off the coast of Seattle?"

Q: (optional of course) You're not by any chance on Whidbey Island, home of 1/2 of the Firesign Theater (unfortunately down to 1/4 now)?
Avatar 10:28pm
Droll:

2" is more likely to shut down Seattle than Fantasy Island, where pss lives. I'm amazed when people interpret "SUV" to mean "goes up hills like a bulldozer". Good YT videos, though!

The PATH station is being closed for all of 2014?!
Avatar 10:28pm
Dave Mandl:

@Ike: But still getting even worse!
Avatar 10:29pm
Droll:

Complain all you like, but at least you have a rapid transit system to hate. Many cities (including Seattle) are doomed to in-traffic transit systems. Not even a crappy monorail to complain about.

@Droll Is Bertha moving again or stuck? We recall using the coastline blight she's replacing on many trips.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:32pm

Bainbridge Island, actually. Also, I believe that Phil Austin lives on Fox Island, which means that until Bergman died, 3/4 of the Firesigns lived on Puget Sound islands. Proctor still lives and works somewhere around L.A.
