DJ Stashu, Dance With Me Stanley got a cut of my pledge from yesterday. Yeah! But I felt terrible that you bid on the Nat Roe show tonight but were disqualified from winning a premium. Sooo I pledged and won for you the Harald Grosskopt, Synthesist CD to regift it to you like a cat with a dead bird to drop at your feet; charming, I know.
If you can’t grab it for yourself tonight, then I’ll arrange to have the station place it directly into your bin.. Congratulations! *spitting feathers* phpoouh, phuuff, cough.

@Gary Adobo apparently has a surprising world appeal. The Mexican version is similar to enchilada sauce flavored with chocolate. carrots are a great idea. I tend to cook the potato cubes right in the adobo. hmm, What is the Polish taste to all this? To me Polish cooking seems like German.

Whooda:

Fruits generally have seeds, if carrots have seeds they are more likely technically a fruit. Tomatoes have seeds and can be classified as a fruit.

I believe the Spanish brought cattle to the new world and many spices so I expect that adobo came from Spain to Mexico and not Aztec or Mayan in origin.
  5:42am
Garyfrom Indiana:

Ketchup a vegetable, yes that was a school board debate.. It's actually Indoneisan sauce. Botanically I thought everything was a fruit , except I'm not sure about carrot being a root rather than the seed bearing body. Anyway. I'm thining sour cream is a good Polish ccontribution to the recipe.

@Gary: yeah, there's always the issue of whether we are using the scientific, culinary or legislative terms. Like, tomatoes are a vegetable in the US because of legislation, but scientifically a fruit. Jaffa cakes are a cake in the UK because of legislation, but most people view them as a cookie.
