Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:15am ChrisB.:

I always confuse Dirty Looks with Any Trouble, and you're not helping.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:15am Jeezy:

  11:17am joe egan:

I LOVE that you're playing Bram T. I have such a strong memory when I bought every one of their albums at St Marks Sound 20 years ago.

  11:24am Bluesman:

Hey Mike, checkin' in from the Suffern Baseball fields!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:31am Jeezy:

Searchers on Sire in 1981?! I'm so confused.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:33am Gaylord Fields:

The Searchers get so many of the words wrong on this version that I wonder if they spell it "g-i-r-l-s."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:34am Jeezy:

Wow, amazing. Great 80's Searchers stuff...
  11:37am Bluesman:

They used to cram all of the Husdon Brothers in one of the Hollywood squares.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:41am Ken From Hyde Park:

Their TV show was named "The Hudson Brothers Razzle Dazzle Show." Are there TV shows anything like that today?
  11:50am Tom from Detroit:

Hey mike!
  11:57am Tom from Detroit:

Oh man haven't heard teenage failure forever! Great cut!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:02pm Guido from Cologne:

Check out the great version of Listen to the Sky on the new Bronco Bullfrog 7". (Fruits de Mer)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:35pm mariano:

Yeah, Guido, some people's original names can be a trip. Was just reading about how Michael Keaton's real name is Michael Douglas, while Michael Douglas's original family name is Danilovich, meanwhile Diane Keaton is really Diane Hall, though her family nickname is Annie. Everyone seemed to wind up with someone else's name.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:41pm Guido from Cologne:

there is a similar story about James Steward and Steward Granger if I remember right.
  12:42pm yoo:

is this a cover of sex farm woman
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:47pm mariano:

Didn't know that, @Guido, thanks!
Avatar 12:49pm fred:

@mariano: It's not that surprising when you factor in the sheer number of actors. I'm sure there are weird connections already there with WFMU commenters, they real names, and their user names
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:51pm Guido from Cologne:

your new avatar looks like the younger Rudolf Scharping (German Politican)
Avatar 12:53pm listener mark:

Thanks for the tunes, Mike!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:55pm mariano:

It is, @Guido! It's from a 1993 cover of Titanic, when they claimed he had "mad goat disease." One of my favorite graphics.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:56pm mariano:

@Fred: Yeah, I'm sure someone could write an interesting article on FMU user names!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:57pm Guido from Cologne:

How you come being familiar with Titanic and German politicans?
  12:57pm Tom from Detroit:

What 1 already?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:58pm Guido from Cologne:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:58pm Rectitude is wondering why he changed names, 5 ye:

rs down the road........... hello fellow humans
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:59pm mariano:

@Guido: tell you on the next message board, we might be out of time, but I was in Berlin the summer of '94, and I saw this issue in a friend's apartment. Became a big fan of Titanic, great magazine, even if I can't read all of it!
  3:20pm Ajax:
