Familiar & forgotten gems from 50-plus years of music on the darker side, shoegaze, synthpop, goth, psychedelia, darkwave, with unapologetic detours into 70s pop. In a dark night of the soul, it's always 3 o'clock in the morning.

The Pompeii film version is great.

Pink Floyd: a group in crisis at that time (1968).
The Floyds themselves don't like their output from that time very much.

Good example that often the creators are not the most reliable judges about their own creations.

damn, they are great. it's odd that the versatile label doesn't push physical product USA way. Recently paid a decent amount for a vinyl ep: jaumet w/Richard Pinhas. Worth every cent, at least!

i was thinking yesterday on a new show for WFMU: "the Rodman hour", where the open discuss of vivid aspects felt in normal everyday life, can make us stop and seriously consider substantial matters about us in it

So this is the spaced out episode? I loved that show, Lost in Space. So it is fitting that I get lost in spaced out show.
