Avatar 6:45am

"Radio broadcasters (and "communication workers" in general) can look to Gabriel the Archangel as their patron saint. Gabriel is, of course, the angel who appeared to Mary to announce her pregnancy with the Son of God. He's also the angel who announced to Daniel the "seventy times seven" prophecy and the angel who foretold the birth of St. John the Baptist to Zachariah."

@FvH - and when I try speaking german, I use inflections like Klink

Dis...... missed!
Avatar 6:47am

"The patron saint of radio and television is Saint Clare of Assisi. Why? Because she was able to mystically see a Mass being performed miles from where she was located. After the advent of radio and television, the Church saw St Clare's experiences as indicative that she'd be an appropriate patron for the new media."
