Favoriting Brian Turner: Playlist from May 13, 2014 Favoriting

Order and disorder in a freeform haze of terribly-played guitars, shorted-out electronics, found audio detritus, strange sounds from strange lands all around. Psych-punk-junk, collage, even pop. Lots of in-studio live performances to boot.

i like this album title
  3:42pm
Ryan M.:

Me and Genesis had rounds of drinks with Joachim Witt when we were in Berlin last November. I think he was slightly bummed that we had no idea who the hell he was, our hosts had to explain that he was a famous 80's pop singer in Germany. He was a blast to hang with, drank with him for hours! They were part of this play performance thing together based around Maldaror.
Avatar 3:43pm
Droll:

ELP pack more notes into this song than the rest of the show -- combined. Kudos for going prog!

P-90:

@ re: "Love Beach" Haha, you are killing me, that one was so best forgotten that I HAD forgotten it. -til you invoked it
Avatar 3:50pm
Droll:

efd, Pete Sinfeld is responsible for that lyrical abomination. It's like the Anti-Tarkus:
We can make love on love beach
out of reach of the lion's claws tonight.
We can make love on love beach
I want your love, with the stars above
down on love beach

I'm gonna make love to you, on love beach
Make all your dreams come true, on love beach
Gonna make love to you, on love beach
Gonna make your dreams come true, on love beach
Gonna make love to you, on love beach...
