The program formerly known as Dinner at Andy's, The Fuzzy Glove Hour, Whores, and The Happiness Hut. Ken and Andy, also known as The Enema Boys, further lower WFMU's already abysmal standards on a weekly basis. Stunt radio which subjects the radio audience to concepts and topics which mature adults should not have to endure. Find the fatal flaw. (Visit homepage.)

"Can You Identify a Song Faster Than Shazam Can?
Tonight, it's yet another installment of our never-ending series, Andy Breckman Discovers the Internet. This eveing it is episode 421: John Henry versus the Shazam Engine.
Or as Andy prefers to refer to it, ShazamaramaBingBangaRooaRama.
Ken and Andy will take one caller at a time to see if they can identify a song faster than the song recognition app Shazam. To keep it fair, we wont be choosing super obscure songs. In fact, we will let you choose the overall musical genre you know best. For every listener who beats Shazam, Andy will give $20 to his favorite charity which, these days, is Mothers Against Masturbatoriums, but that could change."

Has Jim Nabors been banned from singing at any more Indy 500s?

Foolbert:
'But at my back I always hear
Time's wingèd chariot hurrying near'.
More usually, though, if you're not trying to be a jerk or to make a point, it isn't pronounced as 'cagèd', and Maya Angelou didn't pronounce it that way.
Oh, and
I know why the caged bird sings, ah me,
When his wing is bruised and his bosom sore,
When he beats his bars and would be free;
It is not a carol of joy or glee,
But a prayer that he sends from his heart's deep core,
But a plea, that upward to Heaven he flings –
I know why the caged bird sings.
---Paul Laurence Dunbar

@P-90 Jim Nabors his retiring from the gig - he's had some health issues in recent years.
(as yet I am not volunteering, but I may offer to if there still is a need and I think I can swing it). Would be volunteers should check in with Scott@wfmu.org as I do think they still need folks!

There is at least one instance in which the pronunciation of "caged" should be "cage-ed"! In THE TAMING OF THE SHREW, there is a speech made by a Lord in which he says: "And twenty caged nightingales do sing..." In order to have the proper iambic pentameter scansion, you need to pronounce it "cage-ED". Go ahead and give it a whirl.
(Also, I'm a female record collector... see y'all at the record fair!)
